Ancient Navels of the Earth Part I of III
(full version - sound on)
Let's go on the ground to Easter Island, Cusco, Peru and Delphi, Greece and examine a package of symbols and skills that is present in all three locations which bear the same ancient name, the navel of the earth.
Funny I literally just took the same photo
The monumental "Catrina" skeleton in Mexico City's Zócalo has just broken a new official Guinness World Record as the world's tallest Calavera Catrina.
Unveiled as the central masterpiece of the capital's Monumental Day of the Dead Offering (Ofrenda Monumental), this staggering sculpture stands at an incredible 33.41 meters (nearly 110 feet) tall.
It acts as a massive public altar celebrating the deeply rooted traditions of Día de Muertos while paying special tribute to José Guadalupe Posada, the iconic Mexican artist who originally created the famous skeletal figure at the turn of the 20th century.
Dig up the floor probably anywhere in Tenochtitlan and you find, well, more pyramid & and older layer
No, that’s not Thoth or Horus or the Sumerian Apkallu, a Catholic angel, or the Easter island birdman, and it’s not from pillar 43, it’s the Aztec / Mexica eagle warrior!
I would submit that this hand position too has a specific meaning, now lost. From Tenochtitlan, Mexico
Now where have we seen this hand position before…? oh yeah it’s on every Egyptian sarcophagus. These are listed as representations of Tlaloc while in Egypt this is called the Osiris pose to identify the dead with Osiris
No we’re not at the Mayan site of Chichen Itza, we’re at the Aztec / Mexica site of tenochtitlan. They also liked to decorate their pyramids with serpents. “But they’re two different civilizations!” you say. Yes but they are both part of the rich cohesive tapestry of ancient Mesoamerican culture and probably had more shared cultural elements than differences.
mexico city might actually be the best city in the world, its become some enchanting amalgam of things that are cool: black and white tile floors, libraries with sliding ladders, renaissance statues, 50s diners, gothic cocktail lounges, the list goes on and on. everywhere you turn is something creative or unexpected or old school in some way. and then you have the mom and pops grilling up the best tacos youve ever had for a dollar on the street corner
im going to go out on a limb and say akhenaten had an elongated skull. not the skull bound elongated skull, the kind with larger actual volume. if you know anything about ahkenaten you know he ushered in monotheism in egypt, forbade the egyptian gods and closed their temples (except for ra, the "sun" of god). why did he do this? and does it have anything to do with the shape of his skull? spoiler alert: we'll never know
movies about hallucinated realities overlying base realities are fascinating to me. everyone has seen the matrix but "the congress" is also an incredible film with a similar idea though in that movie the hallucinated world is animated and produced by a drug.
i have no doubt in the future these hallucinated realities will exist, and theyll be indistinguishable from base reality,
and youll probably be able to have anything you could possibly want since creating anything you can imagine in a hallucinated reality essentially becomes a software problem at some point. everything is free since its all just code.
so the question future humans will one day face is would you prefer to live in a perpetual lucid dream where you can have anything and do anything and its indistinguishable from reality or would you prefer to live in base reality, with all its flaws and edges and struggles.
and that then of course begs the question of whether this reality even is base reality or if we are already in someones simulated reality.
if youre interested in these topics go watch the congress if you havent seen it
