EoL policy should have been strictly enforced in Delhi, standardize at 15 years for all fuel based vehicles. It will do away a lot of combustion from Delhi roads. Helps in reducing traffic as well.

Delhi continued to grapple with poor air quality with the overall Air Quality Index (AQI) hovering between 385 and 428 in the 'hazardous' to 'severe' range, while several areas across the national capital recorded very poor pollution levels.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the AQl around Akshardham Temple and ITO stood at 349 each, falling in the 'Very Poor' category. The air quality around India Gate and Janpath was recorded at 335, also in the 'Very Poor' category.

Cleanest October in terms of #AQI since 2018 in Delhi was primarily due to 127.5mm rainfall against the average of 15.1mm. Frequent Western Disturbances, Cyclone Arnab in later half helped to some extent.
Now since that weather support is not expected over next 10 days, November will show the real picture. Be prepared!

Smog season begins now --- AQI moving into very poor to severe category. Most AQI sensors across Delhi NCR are now reporting #AQI levels above 300 and many are climbing 400-500 range tonight.
The flow of winds are from north west with calm conditions. All emissions will persist in the atmosphere for longer duration.
No favourable meteorological conditions are expected for next 7-10 days. #Smog will get worse here onwards across Delhi NCR and northern plains.
Be prepared to handle the air pollution chaos now.

Was in West delhi last night. High dust concentration on road, broken patches, traffic mismanagement. Even after rain, air felt heavy. Nearby station reported 300+.
