If you’re starting small in trading and you’re looking for advice from someone who used to be exactly where you are right now, Here it is: Manifest everything‼️ I’ll explain. When I started trading back in 2022, making $1k + from a single trade felt almost impossible. At one point, $1k was literally a goal I would have been happy to achieve in an entire year. Then I started seeing people make much more than that, people making $5k, $10k, $20k from a single trade. Instead of hating. Instead of convincing myself it was fake. Instead of saying “I may never get there.” I believed it. Quietly. I told myself if another person could get to that level, then with enough time, work and improvement, I could get there too. Fast forward to today, making 5 figures from a single trade is something I can comfortably do. Now I’m looking at the next level. I’m not yet at the stage where 6 figures from one trade feels normal to me. But I know that time is coming. And it’s coming fast. And you’ll all see it happen. This mentality has carried me through every stage of my trading journey. See what’s possible. Believe you can get there. Then keep working until your reality catches up with what you once manifested. I read somewhere that, Isaac Newton once made good money trading. Investing in the South Sea Company. He bought the stock, watched it move in his favor, took his profit and got out. That should’ve been the end of it. But then the stock kept going higher and higher. And that’s where things started to change. The profit he had already made suddenly didn’t feel like enough. Everyone around him was still making money, and watching from the sidelines became harder than taking the trade in the first place. So Newton bought back in. Much higher. Not because the setup had necessarily improved. Because he didn’t want to feel like he was missing out. Then the bubble collapsed. And he reportedly lost a fortune. Think about that the next time you take a solid trade, hit your target and watch price continue without you. One of the smartest people to ever live still got caught by the same emotions traders deal with every day: Impatience made him feel late. FOMO made him chase. Greed made the profit he had already banked feel too small. That’s how trading gets you. Not always because you’re stupid. Sometimes it’s because you made a good trade, took your money, and then couldn’t leave it alone. You don’t need to catch the entire move on every trade. Important questions to ask yourself before getting into any trade: What is the market narrative right now? What higher-timeframe key levels is price reacting from? Has the liquidity I’m expecting price to target or sweep already been taken? What confirmations have formed to validate my trade idea? And most importantly: If I can’t answer these questions clearly, why am I entering the trade? You don’t need to be in the market every day. Especially during slower months like August, capital preservation should be a major priority. There will always be another setup. The goal is to protect your capital during poor conditions so you’re in the best position to capitalize when the market becomes cleaner again.
