One thing about outscoring your opponents is that it will eventually come back to haunt you. Man City, Chelsea and Al Nassr concede way too many goals “As long as we keep outscoring opponents” You can’t keep relying on your attack and Cristiano Ronaldo to bail out your defence forever. One day, the goals will dry up, and that’s when the real problems begin.

No one talks about how every Big 6 club except Manchester City have been used as a stepping stone for players in their prime. Manchester United: got dumped by Beckham, Ronaldo and Ruud Van Nistelrooy. Liverpool: got ditched by Trent Alexander Arnold, Suarez, Mascherano, Coutinho, Xabi Alonso and Michael Owen. Arsenal: got dumped by Van Persie, Henry, Fabregas, Alex Song and Anelka. Chelsea: got dumped by Enzo Fernández, Hazard, Cortouis and Cucurella. I dare you to name any player that left Manchester City in their prime.
