Every country has borders, laws, and consequences. Without them, you don’t have a system—you have chaos.
America should not be the exception.
The reality is that millions are here outside our legal immigration system, and we cannot grant a blanket pass to those who entered or remained unlawfully.
The American people overwhelmingly voted for stronger enforcement after years of dangerous, effectively nonexistent border policies under President Biden.
We must restore order, enforce our laws, and ensure our immigration system works for the nation.

.@VP: I've seen various organizations like @nytimes, @CNN, and others pick up and run the original 10-point proposal based on little more than a random yahoo in Iran submitting it to public access television in the country of Iran, and then them saying that somehow represents the negotiating position of the government. It’s the equivalent of let’s say a Democrat councilman in Boise, Idaho, saying something crazy, the local public access TV picking up that crazy statement, and then the New York Times running that as the position of @POTUS. It doesn't make an ounce of sense.
