people keep asking me why i'm looking for a 9-5 when i already have my own business. why not just start another business in the industry i wanna get into? well, i never said i was looking for a permanent job opportunities come from day-to-day work, meeting people, and seeing how things actually work having a job and being an entrepreneur are not mutually exclusive to me

really enjoyed chatting with @LeeLinAI123 Lee yesterday, founding GTM at @hypitai we talked about our experiences working at startups and how we need to stay flexible and adapt quickly when priorities shift, even before we’ve had enough time to fully validate our strategies 😂 that’s just part of startup life, and something we need to get better at we also talked about how GTM roles are changing. feels like startups are looking for someone who can run the entire GTM pipeline with a bunch of AI agents, instead of a traditional GTM lead managing a big team of people been in networking mode lately, will share more of what i’m learning along the way🧚‍♀️

working at startups is basically gambling. some people are just luckier. some people are not.

Don’t be afraid of rejection. If your job search success rate is 100%, that doesn’t mean you’re insanely good. It means you’re going after things that are already within your range. The more ambitious the goal, the more rejection you should expect. 🥳

Feels like startups are looking for a different kind of GTM / marketing person these days. Not someone who manages a team. Someone who can manage a bunch of agents and run the whole agentic pipeline themselves.
