كذلك يقول أبوعبيد البكري في كتاب كتاب المسالك والممالك ولكن كُتِبَت "أودغست"، يقول:
🔸كان من تجّار أودغست أنّه رأى منهنّ امرأة راقدة على جنبها، وكذلك يفعلن في أكثر حالهنّ إشفاقا من الجلوس على أردافهنّ، ورأى ولدها طفلا يلاعبها ويدخل من تحت خصرها، وينفذ من الجهة الأخرى من غير أن تتجافى له شيئا لعظم ردفها ولطف خصرها. والحيوان الّذي يعمل منه الدرق حوالي أودغست كثير جدّا.
