Yesterday, a car was driven into a crowd celebrating Pride in Berlin. One person is dead. Many more are injured. Authorities are calling it an act of terror targeting the LGBTQ+ community.

This is what visibility costs sometimes, and it's also exactly the reason why we can't stop. Every march, every flag, every person who shows up and says "I'm here" is a rejection of the idea that we should hide to stay safe.
