The "Inauthentic Content" policy is currently a nightmare for 3D animators (including me) on youtube 😢 @TeamYouTube @YouTube @UpdatesFromYT @YouTubeCreators Even though the policy aims to stop low effort mass-produced content, it affecting the labor intensive 3D animation channels is very devastating To illustrate the chaos it's causing, I tracked the timeline with: - 3D animated shorts channels who were affected by inauthentic content policy - how much it took for the issue to get solved - how many are there still fighting (including me) What every channel here has in common: - 100% manually animated - Takes hours/days to finish a single video - The exact opposite of "mass-produced" or "low-effort" CONGRATULATIONS TO @zatealiai (Marvin Films Official), @NYKentertain , @fkoffmeee (Shade scrolls), @olleshortz (Tricked Entertain), @punit_verma67 (The Gmod Player), @ItachiTf83631 (SimplifyFrames), and many more for getting their monetization back and the rest @atomswhisperr @Ashim3DD @Kcraft3D, @Pranishb_ (me) and all other affected ones. Hope @TeamYouTube eventually recognizes multiple undeniable proofs that we’ve shared till now and gives us a real human review, rather than just sending another copy-paste bot rejection. Note: This chart doesn’t list all 3D animation channels who were affected. Sorry if I missed your channel 😢! Reply below if you were also affected by this!!
Day 32 since YouTube flagged my 200K+ 3D animation channel as ā€œinauthentic content.ā€ this video shows my frustration after 30+ days of shouting into the void AND I am starting to feel completely helpless, šŸ˜” They claim my shorts are mass-produced and repetitive. But in reality, - Just 5 seconds of a single character takes me 40 minutes of manual work. proof: nitter.cf/Pranishb_/status/20534… and That 40 minutes doesn’t even count the time I spent finding the right video idea, filming myself acting out, creating a scene… - And not a single story of mine has ever been repeated. - Being a solo beginner creator, I could hardly post 2/3 videos per month on average... - My channel shows a real human learning curve. Proof of genuine effort, not automation. nitter.cf/Pranishb_/status/20560… And They give us the option to reapply after 90 days, But in our perspective, we were not doing anything wrong. How can I improve anything if I don't know what's the thing I should improve? @TeamYouTube please, we small creators want a fair chance. Please have an actual human specialist who understands the complexities of 3D animation look at my case... or at least give me a specific reason why my content is inauthentic. 43 days without monetization. My channel Ashim3D was flagged for "Inauthentic Content". How can 3D animation created from scratch in Blender be mass-produced? Because of this error, I had to take a job at a construction site just to pay my bills. It is hard to see real artists being ignored by the system. All my workflow proofs are pinned on my profile. Please give me a fair human review. @TeamYouTube @YouTubeCreators

42 DAYS of absolute despair. My channel Ashim3D is stuck in a demonetization loophole for "Inauthentic Content". I have provided 100% video proof of my manual 3D pipeline in Blender 5.1 and Premiere Pro. I am NOT a bot or a content farm. I am an artist with Gold and Silver creator awards. Please give me a FAIR HUMAN REVIEW, not automated rejections. šŸŽ„ youtube.com @TeamYouTube @YouTubeCreators @YouTube @nealmohan @PhillyD @Keemstar

I am completely losing hope now. It has been 40 days since my 3D animation channel, Atom's Whisper, was demonetized for ā€œInauthentic Content.ā€ I make every video from scratch in Blender, spending 4–5 days on every single video. There is no way my content is inauthentic or mass-produced. I think YouTube has made a mistake. I appealed multiple times, but I got rejected. The rejection also looked generic because they didn’t even mention which of my videos violated YouTube’s monetization policy. My channel: youtube.com/@atomswhisper I have seen many 3D animation channels get their monetization back. I also deserve that. How long do I have to struggle with this? I feel completely stuck, and mentally this has been extremely exhausting. I upload videos that actually give the audience educational value. So, I request @TeamYouTube to review my channel with a human reviewer, or at least tell me which of my videos actually have a problem.

I was looking forward learning and growing as a content creator/animator, until this whole "inauthentic content" nightmare started... šŸ˜” Everyone needs to start somewhere, And the learning curve is the most human thing ever, something AI could never fully understand... the image below is a representation of my learning process from the beginning to right now: it is a proof against YouTube calling my videos ā€œmass-producedā€ and ā€œtemplatedā€ I’m a beginner who blew up fast and is still learning and These are few context that everyone needs to understand: - I started using similar 3D characters because It helps in consistent branding of the channel - I was using similar format shorts because algorithm rewards similar format, the story plots and joke are never repeated - My current animation process takes me almost 40 mins to animate 5 secs animation of a single character: nitter.cf/Pranishb_/status/20534… - Being a solo creator, I only posted 2-3 videos per month on average And now YouTube labeling my work as ā€œinauthenticā€ is very discouraging and disheartening. MrBeast took 4 years to hit 1K subs… it takes time to build and grow. Getting the rug pulled from beneath me like this while I was growing and learning is really sad. @TeamYouTube I am not mass producing but putting in genuine human effort and learning to level up my content as I keep creating.. So Please, can my channel be reviewed by an actual human specialist? I know they must be super busy and there must already be a HUGE queue, but without an actual human review I'll be stuck in a support loop forever.

Day 31 since YouTube flagged my 200K+ 3D animation channel as ā€œinauthentic content.ā€ and they described my content as, "Content that appears mass-produced or repetitive to increase views without adding significant educational or other value." let's break it down phrase by phrase: - "Content that appears..." The word "appears" is the most dangerous word in this entire sentence. If you spend hours manually animating a 3D short, but a flawed AI algorithm thinks it looks like an automated template, you are punished for the AI's hallucination, while your actual proof of hard work is thrown in the trash. - "...mass-produced or repetitive..." This phrase weaponizes two completely normal aspects of content creation by making them sound BAD. "Mass-produced" is just a negative way to say "efficient workflow" (like reusing your 3D characters or workflows). "Repetitive" is just a negative way to say "consistent style" or "format." literally every content creators aim for efficient workflow while making similar format videos - "...to increase views..." Literally every single video uploaded to YouTube is designed to "increase views." That is the entire fundamental purpose of a broadcasting platform. A creator optimizing their workflow so they can upload more frequently and reach a wider audience is the best strategy for growth. Pretending that wanting views is somehow a "red flag" is entirely hypocritical coming from a platform that sells ads based on those exact views. - "...without adding significant..." How much is "significant"? Is it a feeling? A metric? Because it is undefined, the reviewer can reject literally any appeal, at any time, simply by shrugging and saying, "Well, it just wasn't significant enough." You cannot play a game where the referee is allowed to make up the score in their head. - "...educational or other value." Who gave an algorithm the right to decide what art has "value"? If a 3D animated short tells a simple joke that makes 10,000 people smile, that is entertainment value. By writing the rule this way, YouTube treats your creative work like a high school term paper, completely ignoring the fact that art, humor, and visual storytelling have intrinsic human value that a machine cannot comprehend. okay, let's agree that this metrics used by automated system for evaluating is not perfect, and mistakes happen. now the next most concerning part is how the YouTube's support system appears to be rigged for pushing back on creators and making the creators run out of energy. it appears that they are not looking if there's human effort behind the work or not, but just enforcing the flawed automated system as much as possible until the case starts to get traction and it affects the PR.. it appears that they forcefully enforce the wrong decision because that lets them avoid responsibility for their faulty detection system. If they accepted the proof more often, it would prove even more that their algorithm can’t tell human effort from automated work. did you notice how I used the word "appears" in the above three paragraphs, that's how dangerous that word is anything can be twisted and turned to be appeared to look anything, it's hidden in the wordplay @TeamYouTube Let's not hide in the word-plays and corporate loophole, and function as how the support system is supposed to work! to help the affected ones. Is it too much to ask for a human specialist to take a proper look at my case? Please I don't want to give up, and it appears that you are forcing me to give up (using the word appears is dangerous)
This 5-second animation of a single character took me almost 40 minutes using my latest workflow… and YouTube still calls my videos ā€œmass-producedā€ and ā€œinauthenticā€ šŸ’€ That 40 minutes doesn’t even count the time I spent finding the right video idea, filming myself acting out, creating a scene…. Just to be clear: I’m a beginner animator who blew up on youtube faster than I imagined. I’m still learning as I create. You can literally watch my progress on the channel: from simple 2D keyframing to complex 3D rotoanimation. It takes me forever to make one video, so I only did 2-3 shorts per month on average. Yet YouTube keeps saying it looks low-effort or mass-produced. AND I am stuck in a loop of you saying I should continue the conversation with Creator Support, while I haven’t heard from them for 10 days… @TeamYouTube I am not mass producing but putting in genuine human effort and learning to level up my content as I keep creating.. So Please, can my channel be reviewed by an actual human specialist? It's been a month since YouTube flagged my 200K+ 3D animation channel as ā€œinauthentic content.ā€ Does YouTube expect every small creator to be an expert from day one? Why is the learning curve, the most basic human trait, completely ignored now? Every creator starts somewhere. We learn, we evolve, and along the way we find our real creative identity. If you check how all your favorite creators began, their early work looked totally different from what they post today. It was far from perfect. But they had the drive to keep learning and growing into the version you see now. So why does it feel like that option no longer exists on YouTube? YouTube flagged my manual 3D animation as mass produced and low effort. In reality, I am a complete beginner. I am learning animation as I create. I am doing the exact opposite of what they are claiming. My work is not templated. I worked hard to make 100 percent original 3D animations and I have been pushing myself to improve with every video. I have already posted multiple clear proofs of my human effort right here on X. I am in the middle of my learning curve, exactly where I need to be to grow. Humans understand these nuances. Algorithms do not. And How can YouTube expect me to magically create better content based on vague rules with no clear explanation. And Please tell me why my channel was demonetized. I need to know so I do not give up, keep creating, and reapply after 90 days. - Is it the AI voiceover? If yes, fuck it. I will record it myself. Even if my English is not great, I will learn it from scratch just like I learned everything else for this channel. - Is it because the channel is faceless? If yes, I will start showing my face in the videos. - Is it the 3D animation style in general? I doubt it. I have seen many other 3D channels get the same inauthentic flag and later have their monetization restored with an apology. Without a specific reason, how am I supposed to improve my content to meet the YouTube Partner Program standards? Or is this whole inauthentic content policy just a way of telling small creators to stop creating? @TeamYouTube Is it too much to ask for a human specialist to take a proper look at my case? Please I don't want to give up

Dear @TeamYouTube @YouTubeCreators, I’ve carefully read your latest "Inauthentic Content" policy. My channel Ashim3D follows every rule. āœ… šŸš€ WHY I AM NOT "INAUTHENTIC": 1ļøāƒ£ MANUAL LABOR: I spend 20+ HOURS in Blender 5.1 for every single scene. šŸ’» 2ļøāƒ£ VARIED SUBSTANCE: Every video has a unique script and a different 3D world. 3ļøāƒ£ PROVEN EXPERIENCE: I am a veteran creator. I already earned GOLD and SILVER awards on my previous channels. I value my reputation. šŸ† šŸ“¢ THE TRUTH ABOUT MY VOICEOVER: I use ElevenLabs because my English is not perfect yet. It is the only way to share my art with the world. But the SOUL of my channel — the scripts and the 3D animation — is 100% HUMAN-MADE. šŸŽØ Please watch my PROOF VIDEO (showing my project files and awards):šŸŽ„ youtube.com/shorts/_dgbR9Cut… Don't let a language barrier and an automated error destroy years of my hard work. I am feeling completely helpless. My channel, "Simplify Frames" with 118k+ subscribers, is not just another channel for me, it’s something I’ve spent years building and a huge part of my life. @TeamYouTube @YouTube @nealmohan @YouTubeCreators For over a month now, I’ve been dealing with a demonetization for ā€œinauthentic content,ā€ and I still don’t clearly understand what exactly is wrong with my channel. My content is fully original 3D animation made manually in Blender. Every video takes real time and effort to model, animate, set up scenes, and render. These are not reposts, templates, AI-generated clips, or mass-produced videos. The most frustrating part is the lack of clarity. Even after multiple appeals and sending workflow proof, it still feels like I’m only getting automated responses. No specific videos mentioned. No proper explanation. No real feedback on what needs to change. Just the same label repeated again and again. How am I supposed to fix something when nobody explains what the actual issue is? What makes this even more confusing is seeing creators in the same niche making similar types of content while staying monetized, and some even getting remonetized after posting about it here on X. That makes me wonder why my channel cannot get the same proper human review. I’m not asking for special treatment. I’m just asking for something fair: A real human review. A clear explanation of the issue. And proper guidance so I can actually fix it if needed. @TeamYouTube @youtub Please take another look at my channel instead of only sending automated replies. I am starting to feel completely helpless, šŸ˜” My channel, "Superficial" 200k+ Subscribers is the only thing that is financially allowing me to continue doing what I love… @TeamYouTube @YouTube @nealmohan @YouTubeCreators @UpdatesFromYT For 22 days, I've been trying my best to fight against the 'inauthentic content’ false flag here on X. My content is 100% original 3D animation created by myself in Blender. These are not AI-generated low-effort clips, they require very high physical and mental efforts. I’ve shown multiple evidence of human work and effort here on X, but @TeamYouTube on X keeps telling me to ā€œcontinue the conversation via emailā€ while their email team has been completely silent for 14+ days (shown in the screenshot). The policy is aimed at content that is generated at scale, with only tiny insignificant changes. And I 100% agree with YouTube’s decision to crack down on low-effort contents. But my unique story plots and resolutions are far from repetitious. Note that I am just a single creator/animator who does everything by myself. I’m still learning as I create. And due to the lengthy process, and me being a beginner solo animator, I hardly posted 2/3 videos in a month on average The saddest part is that even after multiple desperate appeals, I feel like I’m only getting automated AI reviews that don't understand the context and nuances behind. I’m not getting a real human review who can understand the manual effort behind my work. And AI determining the value of human effort feels devastating šŸ˜” I just want to get back to creating and growing. @TeamYouTube I am not mass producing but putting in sincere human effort and learning to level up my content as I keep creating.. So Please, can my channel be reviewed by an actual human specialist? Dear @TeamYouTube @YouTubeCreators, I want to comply with all platform policies, but I am completely stuck. My channel Ashim3D was flagged for "Inauthentic Content," yet every single video is manually animated by me in Blender (20+ hours per scene). If my 100% manual 3D artwork is flagged, I genuinely don't understand what needs to be changed. I am ready to fix any issue, but I need clarity: āž”ļø What EXACTLY is flagged as "inauthentic" on my channel? āž”ļø What specific elements do I need to fix or remove to regain monetization? Please give me a specific answer instead of a template response. I just want to understand how to fix my channel and keep creating. šŸ™šŸ› ļø My proof video: youtube.com/shorts/_dgbR9Cut…

Today marks exactly 1 month since my channel Ashim3D was unfairly demonetized. šŸ›‘ For 30 days, I have tried absolutely everything: -Posted detailed proof of my manual 3D workflow in Blender. -Shared project files, timelines, and rendering processes. -Appealed the decision with clear facts. The result? Only automated, copy-pasted bot responses. No real human feedback. šŸ¤– How am I supposed to "fix" anything if nobody tells me what is wrong? I spend 20+ hours on every single scene. This is real human craftsmanship, not an AI template farm. I am completely stuck and running out of options. @TeamYouTube @YouTubeCreators @YouTube, please stop hiding behind algorithms. Give my channel a genuine manual review by a real person. Let me protect my livelihood and my art. šŸ™šŸ› ļø
