I really wish the world was better. It's maddening how shitty it is and how so many people just accept that.
I'm exiting my validator today, I've been staking since genesis. Frankly, I have lost faith in the cause, the institutions, and the 2% APR definitely doesn't make up for that. Good luck, I'm out.
I think strong nullifiers in ZKPs for self sovereign identity are a necessity for anything that matters; can anyone convince me otherwise? (voting, anti-sybil, etc)

Very cool and creative use case of ZK, zkML/AI!!
Turning any physical object into private keys by proving an image matching.
Awesome stuff guys @Rarimo_protocol and @distributedlab

🧩 Curious how to build a web app that verifies user data with @tlsnotary?
Try it in action at demo.tlsnotary.org!
Big thanks to the @tlsnotary team, especially @trauma_offline, who built this demo! 👏

Don't miss this talk by the excellent @voltrevo tomorrow (Wed) in Sydney:
Wholesome MPC in TypeScript ✨
Ok I invented this title but I do think 2025 will be a big year for MPC.
The work Andrew and team are building up @PrivacyScaling is driving that, bigly.

Our ZKEmail.nr benchmarks have now been updated to the latest package versions. Make that <5s browser proving time (better computers w/ more threads would probably be even more performant) 💪
(github.com/Mach-34/zkemail.n…)
This really is a major achievement that the crypto dev community are largely unaware of
proving zkemail in under 2.5s natively and 10s in-browser is a major statement for what client-side proving with @noirlang can achieve.
you can build privacy apps today. The future is here.

I've never been a Steve Jobs fanboy, but I recently heard something he said that really resonated with me: "We've got to start with the consumer and work backwards to the technology."
In some ways, that's irrelevant to crypto, in other ways it's profound.

It’s 2024. We’re building the decentralized future, but signing into a website with a wallet still feels like deciphering ancient scrolls. 🤔

who would be qualified to work on a new "State of Ethereum" report for @MolochDAO?
would need to interview all the core devs and some researchers and maybe some L2 teams to see where we're at
bonus points for finding the new Danny Ryan 👹
Replying to @nelsonmckey @amandacassatt
Who remembers how Danny Ryan was discovered the first time? 👹

Privacy wins. Today the Fifth Circuit held that @USTreasury’s sanctions against Tornado Cash smart contracts are unlawful. This is a historic win for crypto and all who cares about defending liberty. @coinbase is proud to have helped lead this important challenge. 1/6

Post-quantum here we go!
TL'DR: (remove all ECC by 2035)
NIST recently posted a draft describing their approach to transitioning from RSA/ECC to post-quantum (PQ) secure signatures and key-agreement primitives. (csrc.nist.gov/pubs/ir/8547/i…)
They propose to completely move away from all RSA/elliptic curve crypto by 2035!
On the positive side, they offer guidelines for PQ-secure signatures and key agreement protocols. Many teams are already working towards developing these protocols and new alternatives.
However, beyond signature and key-agreement, the story is completely different!
Many solutions getting built for blockchain applications and beyond extensively employ RSA, ECC, and pairing. And, their future is unclear!
