I was shot 3 times in the back outside Parliament on June 25, 2024. I was among those shot that day and I was the only one who survived. My name was even listed among those who had died. The media did not expect me to make it.
We went out together, my friends never came back. I carry them with me every day. May they rest in peace. 🙏
Over 2 years later I have refused to give up. I have lived through a severe spinal cord injury, chronic pain, sepsis, bladder stones and countless hospital admissions.
I am now asking for help with the costs that come with my recovery; Physiotherapy, medication, follow-up appointments and other medical expenses.
My biggest goal is to keep working on my recovery and regain my independence.

Something is seriously different about Kenya today, because in previous years, especially this close to an election, you could actually feel money circulating through businesses, campaigns, towns and ordinary households, yet right now almost everyone you meet is complaining that there is simply no money.

I was humbled to share God's word today at the Living Springs SDA Church in Baltimore, Maryland.
My message was themed "My Serving Obligation," in line with the evangelical call for each of us to take individual responsibility in growing the church and spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
I spoke on servant leadership and God's requirement that we serve diligently, drawing from Matthew 10:32, which calls us to acknowledge Christ before others so that He may acknowledge us before His Father in heaven.
I reminded our fellow worshippers that for others to heed our message, Christ's character must always be reflected in us.

The brazen abduction of Mr. Alex Kiprotich, the Standard Group Associate Editor by masked, plain-clothes agents is a severe affront to his constitutional freedoms, a free press, and our democracy.
This rogue conduct by an alleged abduction police unit directly mirrors the systemic lawlessness that the Police Reforms Taskforce I chaired sought to dismantle.
As highlighted in the report I released to the public on 31 August, these illegal killer squads and clandestine units must be dismantled immediately.
