What a privilege to speak to Ag Students at Southwestern Community College today about the seed selection process and how to pick the right seed for the right acre. I was blown away by their engagement and questions. Ag Industry keep your eye on this group! ⁦⁦@swcciowa⁩

Kruger wouldn’t be where it is today without dealers like this guy, Bill Ory. Today we celebrated Bill’s 35th year planting and harvesting Kruger plots. It’s truly an honor being a part of the Kruger family. ⁦@Kruger_Seeds⁩ ⁦@Bayer4CropsUS⁩ ⁦⁦@Bayer⁩

Many fields have changed color fast this week🔥 This heat and lack of rain is pushing the crop to mature way to quickly.

#Drought expansion continues w/ a 10% increase of D1 (Moderate Drought) ... much of it into eastern IA. D0-D3 conditions now cover 96% of the state, up from 88% last week. This is the most coverage since 09/17/2013 (97%) #IowaAg #IowaClimate #Drought20 (1/2)

Great analysis on the impacts of weather (wind)👇on late season ear development and potential.

111 day product near Churdan, Iowa. These ears (left to right) are from plants that were standing, lodged, and kinked. The milk line progression for each: 1/4 for the standing, 1/2 for the lodged, premature black layer for the kinked stalk. Kernel depth is affected as well.
