I've had my eye on you. Soon, you'll have yours on me.
2.0 debut on the 13th.
HEY VTUBERS.
DO. NOT. FEED. PAST. PAID. COMMISSIONED. ART. PIECES. THROUGH. GENERATIVE. A.I. (Or any art through GEN A.I.)
This is EXTREMELY rude to the ARTIST and what they do for us as a community.
EVEN. IF. YOU. PAID. FOR. IT.
There are a BUNCH of people in the comments saying that since money was provided to the artist for the OG art, it is okay to shove it through gen A.I.
BUT THEY ARE WRONG. You are literally STEALING the artist's talent, style, work, and LITERALLY YEARS of their hard work/training to get to that point where they are able to support YOUR lifestyle and hobbies. ITS THE PRINCIPLE.
PAY. YOUR. ARTISTS.
In this case, the OP literally put that artist in a position where they are missing out on money they RIGHTFULLY could have earned by using THEIR art through gen A.I. You stole the opportunity away from a human and SHOVED IT INTO A MACHINE.
PAY. YOUR. ARTISTS.
IS THAT REALLY SO HARD.
OMG WAIT. LET ME DO THIS FOR @CandyZeusTV
Omg! I've never seen a duck vtuber before!!
Question for the VSinger Community
Somebody approaches you to see if you would like to do a duet or participate in a group cover of a song
How should the financial side be divided in your eyes?
Do you let them handle all of it?
Do you offer to pay your portion?
I'll put my thoughts in the comments
Besides those options, I offer to pay.
I think people should stop going into duets and choruses without even offering to pay their part and expect others to pay for them. I think that's selfish and bad practice.
If you can't pay for your part, then don't accept the offer.
They don't owe you anything for asking you to duet/collaborate with you.
