Everyone posts the Xiaomi factory. Nobody writes for the plant you actually own Here is the entire method for getting 20% more throughput out of a factory built in the 1980s What's inside: - What Xiaomi built from scratch - Why Giga Berlin stays unreachable - Where the 25 points hide - Why replacing the floor fails - The 3 part intelligence layer - The 3 jobs it runs - Installing while the line runs Early pilots cut downtime around 30% and lifted throughput around 20% with no machine replaced The video is 163 seconds inside the Xiaomi plant, the machine-first floor your plant will never look like The full method is below
How to get 20% more throughput out of a factory built in the 1980s None of the plants I walk into look like Tesla's Giga Berlin Those factories are the majority and nobody is writing the playbook for them Here is the method that closes the gap on the floor you already own:

Adversarial collaboration doesn't happen in a vacuum. It's built at conferences, meetups, and CTFs, where ethical hackers learn from each other. On #InternationalEthicalHackersDay, find your next event and level up! ➡️ infosecmap.com/explore-map/?… #InfoSec #CyberSecurity #CTF
Happy #InternationalEthicalHackersDay! Attackers never ask permission. Ethical hackers do, then break your systems on purpose and hand you a report instead of a breach. Thank you for the adversarial collaboration that stops real attacks. 🤘🏽 #EthicalHacking #InfoSec

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰-𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝟰𝟬 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘀. Tornyol is developing a tiny autonomous drone that can identify a mosquito through its acoustic signature, estimate its position using ultrasonic sonar, and intercept it in flight. The spectacular part is the chase, but the more important part is the precision. Most mosquito control treats an entire place because locating and targeting one insect is impractical. We spray rooms, cover large areas, and expose everything nearby because our intervention is broader than the problem. Tornyol is attempting to reverse that logic. Its system resembles a physical SPAR loop: it Senses a target, Plans an interception, Acts in the real world, and continuously updates from environmental feedback. This is where agentic AI becomes much more interesting. Once sensing and autonomous action become cheap enough, we can replace broad interventions with thousands of narrow, coordinated decisions. The future of automation may not belong to larger machines. It may belong to smaller agents making more precise decisions at enormous scale. Tornyol’s claims of ten drones covering a square kilometre at 100 times lower cost remain projections. The prototype still has to prove itself outside controlled demonstrations. Where else are we treating an entire environment simply because we cannot yet find and act on the individual target? #SPARFramework #AgenticAI #AutonomousRobotics #PublicHealthTechnology

Railways 1845. Utilities 1929. Japan 1989. Dotcom 2000. Shale 2014. Same order each time: stocks peak, capex keeps rising for another 6-24 months, then rolls over. The trigger was usually a central bank.

Another thing to look at in light of Iran conflict is China's auto export profile. It's been over 50% NEVs since the start of conflict. China's increased auto export this yr has been driven by crude supply shortage.

Oxide CTO @bcantrill says the people promising to "automate the economy" should spend a day in a factory, because much of the physical world isn’t even in the software loop: "People would benefit from going, working in a factory, going to a mine. Go into the actual industrial economy that people are talking about. It doesn't work the way you think it does." "It reminds me very much of the hysteria before Y2K. Ed Yourdon was saying that in New York City, you will not have water on January 1st, 2000, because there are microcontrollers that control the water system." "They interviewed the person that runs the municipal water authority. He's like, 'Do you understand how water works in New York? Do I need to send you a memo on gravity? The water is in the Adirondacks. It flows down to New York City.'" "People need to spend more time reading Richard Scarry. Learn how the world works, and then you can learn what the actual perils of automation might be and might not be." @oxidecomputer

The Navy formally established a new center Thursday at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek in Virginia that’s expected to play a major role in shaping how the sea service fights with uncrewed systems. The Robotic and Autonomous Systems Warfighting Development Center (RASWDC) will bring “operational coherence” that’s needed for the integration of unmanned platforms across the fleet with the Navy’s general-purpose forces, according to an unclassified administrative message from Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Daryl Caudle that was posted Thursday on a Navy HR website. hubs.li/Q04yx14R0

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang received the 2026 Van Fleet Award at the Korea Society gala for strengthening U.S.–Korea ties in AI and semiconductors. In his speech he called South Korea’s 25-year transformation from technology adopter to AI leader “an astonishing miracle,” praised its unmatched ability to both invent and rapidly spread new tech across society, and said no one builds factories better than Koreans. “South Korea is now building factories of intelligence, and we are building them together.” He added that the two countries are at the starting point of the largest industrial infrastructure build-out in history and that he is highly optimistic about the future they will create side by side.
