H.E @KagutaMuseveni , we thank you for restoring our traditional cultural institutions in 1993 and its was an important step in reconnecting Ugandans with their roots and preserving our rich heritage. It is encouraging to see you continue engaging Their Majesties and cultural leaders.

This morning, I addressed 598 senior and junior officers of the Uganda Prisons Service undertaking the Intermediate Senior Command Course and Command Course, respectively.
My focus was to encourage them to become change agents in their respective areas of responsibility and embrace productivity. Uganda needs every citizen to be a producer of a good or a service, contributing to national development and the growth of a strong, modern economy.

Thank you Hon. @BalaamBarugahar for recognising the importance of strengthening Local Governments in delivering healthcare services. At the end of the day, what matters most is seeing these partnerships make a real difference in people's lives through better health facilities, improved services and accessible healthcare for every Ugandan.
This morning, I was honoured to host a delegation from the United States Embassy in Uganda, led by His Excellency Mikael Cleverley, Chargé d’Affaires, alongside Ms. Mary Borgman, PEPFAR Uganda Country Coordinator, and Mr. Kevan Higgins, Political and Economic Counsellor.
Our discussions focused on strengthening collaboration and identifying opportunities to support Local Governments in improving the delivery of essential public services, particularly healthcare.
We also discussed the significant US$410 million commitment towards supporting Uganda’s health services in the first year, with the total support expected to exceed US$1.7 billion over a five-year period.
As the Ministry responsible for Local Government, we recognise the critical role Local Governments play in delivering healthcare services to our communities. It is therefore important that this support translates into tangible improvements in health facilities, staffing, service delivery and the overall wellbeing of our people.
I appreciate the continued partnership between the Government of Uganda and the United States Government. Together, we can strengthen our health systems and improve the quality of life of Ugandans, particularly at the grassroots.
Strong Local Governments, Better Healthcare, Better Lives.

Today at State House Entebbe, I met Egyptian investors led by our Deputy Head of Mission in Egypt, Lt. Gen. Charles Angina (Rtd). I encouraged them to invest in our economy, particularly in electricity, railways, irrigation and toll roads. We produce a lot from agriculture, minerals and forests, but we must add value to these products and have affordable infrastructure so our goods can compete in the global market. I welcome their proposal to establish an industrial park for processing coffee, cotton and other products.

African, EAC, Uganda, we are blessed, but we do not know it.
Earlier we unite to fight for ourselves, the better.
In France, young people the so-called Gen Z have been violently protesting since yesterday, the 17th of October, over bad governance and corruption.
They are feeling ignored by their government, demanding better schools, and speaking out against high costs of living, education cuts, a shortage of teachers, and overall poor public service delivery.
To my shock, this is a Western country the very people who have always pretended to come to Africa to solve our problems.
For the longest time, the truth is slowly coming out: these Western countries are failed states themselves.
The God of Africa is still alive. We can still unite and do better for ourselves, rather than having these people disorganize us in the name of "helping" us.
Mzee @KagutaMuseveni has always called upon Ugandans and Africans to interest themselves in studying history, get to know deep facts about these people, and come back to unite and work for ourselves.
Thank you, Mzee, for being a giraffe always seeing far, telling us the truth and here we are today, seeing everything clearly for ourselves
