They will be held and left at the stadium.

Bowen stepped up massively in the second half. The team looked to him for inspiration and he led by example. Top assists for Mukasa and Kilman. The comeback also highlighted why Kante and Piroe need to be regular starters. Both had positive contributions from the bench. #WHUFC

Still, Scott Parker when West Ham are 3-0 down at half-time… (from Mark Noble’s autobiography, still available in all good book shops)

Noble and Parker 🤝
Replying to @Hammer_On_X
In terms of your backroom team, is Mark Noble going to be involved?
“Yes, Mark is going to be with me. Everything I’ve been trying to express is summed up by Nobes. I don’t see anything but pure value there - this is a guy who knows this Club from top to bottom, he’s lived it all, and he’s someone I know can help me.
“I’m aware I can’t do this on my own. None of us can, and it’s important that as a Football Club, and as an organisation, we come together. Certainly, Nobes is going to be fundamental to that, not only to me, but to everyone here.”

Starting to think you know, that we maybe should have taken a bit more time & put more effort into the appointment to replace Moyes.
Not 100% sure it’s gone quite according to plan since.
The leadership group have been very, very clear. We have to get promotion or else the club is in a proper mess.
Data never lies.

Before everyone screams "not Parker!" We have to get out of the Championship as a priority. If you look at how he managed Burnley they only dropped a handful of goals when they went up. If anybody is going to tactically secure us he's probably one of the best options.
We also don't know if other managers approached turned us down to wait for Premier League vacancies. We needed to make this decision now - even though everyone saying that the Championship is a marathon.
We cannot allow the pack at the top to get away from us. And it's quite clear that Nuno had lost the dressing room.
We need someone to come in, reorganize the squad and give them a tactical plan, rather than playing the same way each game.
They were being judged on passing metrics and not on goals scored!

So the positives of Scott Parker:
3 promotions with 3 different clubs as manager in the championship (Fulham, Bournemouth, Burnley).
Championship manager of the season in 2025.
His record in the Premier League is obviously far from convincing.
However, West Ham are not a Premier League club.
A three time Hammer of the year and was highly regarded by fans whilst at the club.
Would he be my first choice? Maybe not. But this is a credible appointment for where we are now.

Nuno sacked then.
A manager who was brought in last season to keep us up but failed and whilst not all the blame can lie on him for relegation he never offered enough to improve things on the pitch.
Frequently falling out with members of the squad and offering up a very dull style of football.
To have kept his job in the summer West Ham needed to start this season well with enthusiasm and results. It’s been pretty uninspiring and the latest defeat just added more frustration.
This is an emotional fanbase and we need someone to get behind. We need a connection with a manager.
The next appointment is going to need to be someone that we know, that we really want to support and be proud of.
Nuno, like Lopetegui and Potter were not managers fans took to and we all atrocious appointments.
(Out of West Ham’s last 4 managers only one has had a banner taken to a game demanding his removal.)
The goal this season is to win the championship and get promoted. That hasn’t changed in my head.
We need to get his right.
A new era about to begin!

I mean, I’m not keen on Nobes being permanent manager but him as interim makes perfect sense to me. Let him get stuck into these fucking superstar diva cunts and let them know what it’s all about and where they are.
