I’m sorry, but you guys are twisting the point. Rambutan’s attachment to "Mangosteen" was an unhealthy projection due to losing her parents. Whenever she infantilized Lychee, she saw "Mangosteen," but at the end she addressed LYCHEE. This retcon would be odd.

Guys I’m sorry but Rambutan/Lychee Dragon being family is. Not a new concept whatsoever. 😭😭😭 With how Rambutan met Lychee in their child disguise and treated them as family in Ovenbreak I never understood why people shipped them in the first place???

I think what annoys me about people who talk about rambutan seeing lychee as "family" is that, even outside of shipping talk, they keep trying to read it as a literal adoptive family and not. You know. The fact that rambutan sees her whole tribe and close friends as her family

EXACTLY DUDE. Lychee describes Rambutan's " I love you " as " whispers of sweet-nothings ", which is AN INHERENTLY ROMANTIC IDIOM, so if " I love you " or " My precious " weren't enough for these people to be convinced, then the use of that idiom literally confirms it's 100%+
