You may know about brain aneurysms, but have you heard of an AVM? October is AVM Awareness Month. An AVM is a tangle of abnormal blood vessels in the brain that can rupture and cause bleeding. 10–60% of people with an AVM also have a brain aneurysm. bafound.org
