Rice and Moore is a go. Delane is the wild card
The Kansas City Chiefs have released their final injury report for Week 8's game against the Denver Broncos. Two key pieces are slated to return on offense, but a few questions have popped up on defense late in the practice week. 🤕

This is a good way to describe Reid's career without Mahomes.

Wonderful breakdown. It’s worth noting that had Reid not gotten Mahomes he’d likely still be an above average coach with zero rings. Mahomes is the far greater catalyst than Reid’s coaching. Veach needs to do a vastly better job at protecting Mahomes.

Andy Reid has coached 27 completed NFL seasons (regular season, through 2025). Only five wide receivers have produced a 1,000 yard season for him. This comparison is strictly WRs, deliberately excluding Travis Kelce, Brent Celek and every other tight end. A follow-up will include TEs because Kelce’s production deserves its own discussion. Philadelphia, 1999–2012: • Terrell Owens: 2004 • Kevin Curtis: 2007 • DeSean Jackson: 2009, 2010 Only four qualifying seasons from three players across fourteen years. Jeremy Maclin came close, including 964 yards in 2010, but his first 1,000 yard season came in 2014, after Reid left Philly. Kansas City, 2013–2025: • Jeremy Maclin: 2015 • Tyreek Hill: 2017, 2018, 2020, 2021 Five qualifying seasons from two WRs across thirteen years. Combined, that’s nine 1,000 yard WR seasons in 27 years. Every NFL franchise produced more over that same 1999–2025 window. The rest-of-league rate would yield approximately seventeen over the same span. The KC comparison is particularly striking. Since Reid arrived, the Chiefs rank: • T-28th in 1,000 yard WR seasons • 31st in 800 yard WR seasons • 22nd in receiving yards from WRs • Sixth in total receiving yards across all positions They’re also last in the number of different WRs to reach 1,000: just Maclin and Hill. That’s a remarkably small group for an offense with this much passing production. There are reasonable explanations. Reid distributes targets across positions. Injuries matter. And an arbitrary cutoff shouldn’t erase seasons like JuJu Smith-Schuster’s 933 yards in 2022 or Rashee Rice’s 938 in 2023. Lowering the threshold to 800 still leaves KC 31st. This goes beyond a few players narrowly missing 1,000. These are production numbers and the responsibility extends beyond Reid alone. That said, with the trade deadline approaching, temper expectations. Adding talent would help the team as a whole, but unless they add a true WR1, don't expect a shiny new toy to buck the trend of the system.

I just want to be sure I have this right: The illegal immigrants were buying all the homes and driving up prices while also driving down wages by taking all the low paying jobs but were also super lazy and using all the welfare and SNAP they aren’t eligible for. 🫤
Q: How does the right and yourself expect us to start families young when the average price of a home in America costs more than $415,000 which feels out of reach for us. Vance: The reason why housing exploded is in part because we allowed 20 million illegal aliens into our country to buy homes that ought by right go to American citizens.

🚨BREAKING: The Republican Women’s Caucus Fund has been unmasked as the force behind the fake Texas Transgender Student Union (TTSU). This Wyoming LLC, formed in September, flooded as many as 3 million Texas mailboxes and phones with texts and brochures just as early voting began for the midterms. Posing as a trans advocacy outfit, the materials—addressed to the children of registered voters—coached minors on seeking gender-affirming care even against parents’ wishes, pursuing emancipation, going out-of-state for hormones or surgery, and finding a “found family.” They copied branding from the real Transgender Education Network of Texas (TENT) and used a near-identical address. Legal filings named the Republican Women’s Caucus and “John Braun”—the name of a Washington state senator whose campaign treasurer, Paul Kilgore, also handles finances for the RWC Fund and PACs supporting Ken Paxton’s Senate bid against Democrat James Talarico. TTSU’s lawyer is former Paxton assistant AG Chris Hilton. TENT sued, claiming harassment, threats, and operational harm. Judge Jan Soifer ordered disclosure, rejecting free-speech secrecy claims. So, a Republican-linked group, with financial ties to Paxton-supporting PACs, mass-produced and distributed materials that impersonated a transgender student resource guide. In other words, the people who routinely accuse the transgender community of “indoctrinating” or targeting children, themselves produced and mailed the very content designed to look like that targeting—so parents would see it and react. Every Republican accusation is a confession.

Ranking every Brett Veach draft pick is not an easy task, but one we attempted here. We took into account their draft position, production, injuries, & off-field issues. Now, it is WAY too early to be ranking the 2026 class & to some extent, the 2025 class as well, so take those ranks with a grain of salt. Based on our rankings of these #Chiefs draft picks, it looks like a pretty even split over 9 drafts & 62 players with 23 being above average to good, 23 being below average to bad, and 16 being average. #ChiefsKingdom, what do you agree & disagree with?

Haley Stevens is spending the final days before an immensely consequential election attacking her own party’s nominee over a digital ad from an independent PAC that I don’t believe ever ran in Michigan. When defeating MAGA should be the priority, this is absolutely insane behavior.
On the eve of the eve of the eve of our BIG and important election, a unifying moment has arrived, our democratic nominee for U.S Senate disavows the Rebellion PAC ad made by Hasan Piker’s uncle that claims Jews are responsible for America’s economic woes. We have learned from party leaders and emissaries, as reported in the news media that he has. On Sunday I will join with the Great Democratic leader, Jim Clyburn and Dr El Sayed for a church service in the beautiful city of Detroit. The political coalition of Black and Jewish voices that have carried Michigan and this country through so many storms to the righteous path of liberal democracy and equal opportunity for all will ring out. Full statement here:

This. They are NOT trying to replace Butker. They are trying to put pressure on him to make him right. Could have done w/ the Thicker kicker instead of the baggage of Tucker. Complete unforced error. Unfortunately they are so tone deaf they dont even register this as a misstep.
May sound crazy but I dont think Tucker was brought in to replace Butker i think he was brought in for teaching and helping butker with his game

Does knowing ALL the positions actually help the Chiefs? Apart from a first ballot hall of famer's play, i dunno if it still benefits them. They still have only the gadget role for Worthy. They dont mix and match.
I understand Jesse is just relaying what the Chiefs do, but this part/excuse always is so weird to me. Do other teams do this? Do the modern offensive coaches do this like McVay/Shanny/Johnson? This approach isn't yielding results. Maybe adjust?

This is like you gotta take that liberal arts general education class to graduate from college. It doesnt do anything, its just a requirement. It just delays your end goal.

Eli Manning? Over Mahomes? Over Rodgers/Favre? Over Marino? Over Lamar? Over Big Ben? Over Kurt Warner? Over Bucs Brady? Over Josh Allen? Rage bait
Would Drew Brees be your team's GOAT?

Ah Ben Shapiro. The biggest Hypocrite
Ben Shapiro went on a Jewish podcast yesterday and said that Israel's top-performing Arab party should be banned following their electoral success, then did his own show and told his audience that Arabs voting is proof Israel isn't an apartheid state. The chutzpah is incredible.

Bullsh!t. Kaeperick was a backup QB and NFL blackballed him b/c "distractions would be too much for a backup level player". Chiefs are getting away with it b/c our beat reporters dont ask tough questions and KC is far more chill than a big market city.
Further proving how bad Colin Kaepernick sucked. The NFL will take ANYONE if you can play.

On Cyrus Allen. If he is really good, he will get more snaps later in the year. Tyreek Hill had under 700 receiving yards in his first season. Even with his blazing speed, he couldnt get snaps over Conley or Albert Wilson. Or DROP. All were either vets or drafted above him.

I spent the week reporting on trade deadline stuff around the league. Speaking with league sources, my impression is KC will be aggressive in trying to add a WR. While the Chiefs aren’t desperate, my belief is they’ll explore all avenues, with finances not being a major hurdle
Verderame says from his understanding the chiefs will be ultra aggressive to get a wideout and may be willing to part way with a 1st if it’s the right guy.

"New records obtained by KARE 11 show the company that owned a vacant private prison in Appleton, Minnesota offered to sell it to the state in 2025 for $75 million. One year later, the Trump administration agreed to use taxpayer funds to buy the same abandoned prison from CoreCivic, Inc., for $495.6 million. The price difference, $420 million, is more than taxpayers are estimated to have lost in Minnesota’s much-publicized Feeding Our Future fraud scandal." kare11.com/article/news/inve…

If she wants to shut down her department, she should just resign. Has she tried that?
Education Secretary Linda McMahon is spending $43,000 on new furniture for her office while actively lobbying Congress to shut down her department.
