It's time for nation-building projects for the people. Ahead of the 2026 Budget, we're calling on the Liberals to prioritize three big projects that will lower costs and make life better for millions of families, paid for by a wealth tax on the 1%. โ€ข Make a down payment to build a network of 50 public grocery stores. โ€ข Triple the federal government's community housing investment to build one million non-market homes for people. โ€ข Make a nation-building investment in health care, including funding pharmacare from coast to coast to coast. Read my full letter to Prime Minister Carney.

Doug Ford ripped up my photo of his ministers celebrating the Academy of Learning's opening. Good thing I have copies. As long as the donations kept flowing, this government turned a blind eye, and now thousands of students are paying for it. So who is Ford really working for?

Doug Ford's government opened the floodgates on OSAP and raked in donations from private college executives. Now people like a single mom in Windsor training to be a PSW are paying for it with a lifetime of debt. It's time for Ford to fire Minister Nolan Quinn.

Doug Ford is running the biggest deficit in Ontario's history. Wait times are through the roof and our kids are crammed into packed classrooms. So where is all that money going? Because it sure isn't going to the people of Ontario.

How? -by not collecting $1 Billion the 407 operators owe to taxpayers -taking cash advances on the taxpayers credit cards to buy the last election -liberating beer sales early -misappropriating funds All, while misrepresenting the number of homes that are being built in Ontario
$540 billion DEBT. Deficit increased in 7 months due to government moving $3.8 billion into a โ€œcontingency fundโ€ That contingency fund increases the interest on borrowed money (directly increasing the deficit) that taxpayers are pay $17 billion in interest on.

Billions for AI data centres but apparently it is impossible for the government to have enough money to make housing affordable. What a conundrum.

The same guy who was caught fixing the price of bread for years now claims that the big grocers have no control over prices. Give me a break. Canadians arenโ€™t stupid. We see Galen getting richer and richer as grocery costs skyrocket. We know weโ€™re being ripped off. Itโ€™s time to break up the Big Grocery Cartel and drive down costs with a national network of public grocery stores that Canadians can actually afford to shop at.

I can think of 151 THOUSAND reasons why Doug Ford let the private career colleges OSAP scandal fester. *ahem* Private college executives donated $151,000 to Fordโ€™s Conservatives!
Doug Ford stood up and blamed students for the OSAP mess. So letโ€™s follow the money. In 2024, private college executives donated $151,000 to the PCs, and the Minister in charge at the time got $30,000 from them alone. Now students have had the rug pulled out from under them. So I asked the Premier: was this incompetence, or are students and families paying the price for his insider deals?

In March, Ford budgeted $40.8B for education. Seven months later? $40.2B. $600 MILLION less than planned. Classrooms are overcrowded. Supports are disappearing. Education workers are losing jobs. Ford calls it a plan. I call it abandoning students. Where did the money go? #onted

Avi Lewis on Stelco: "The CEO has admitted on CBC that he bought this company in order to take out the competition for his U.S. steel mills. And now he's violating the law by by laying off hundreds of workers potentially right before Christmas. This is obscene."

Never has a government spent so much and gotten so little for the people of Ontario. Today Doug Ford released his fall economic statement, and families struggling with grocery bills and rent got no real help, just more tired announcements. Itโ€™s time for real solutions that put money back in your pocket, end the health care wait times, and build the homes that people can afford.

One of Mayor Chowโ€™s largest vote share increases was in Brad Bradfordโ€™s riding of Beaches-East York. Spending years collecting your taxpayer-funded salary but not actually doing your job while trying to get a promotion is an interesting choice- I think voters noticed! #topoli

Conservatives and Bloc and a lone Liberal MP joined the NDP in support of @LeahGazan's bill to protect Canadians' right to strike from S. 107. Sadly the bill was defeated by the rest of the Liberal caucus.

The American CEO who bought Stelco is openly admitting that he purchased the company to sabotage it. This is why the Liberals should have never approved Stelco's sale in the first place. When you give away ownership of a critical industry like steel, your economy is forever under another's thumb. There is only one solution that will save these jobs and put Canada back in the driver's seat: we need to nationalize Stelco.
Cleveland-Cliffs CEO: I bought Stelco because I could not afford anymore having Stelco flooding the market here in the United States to the detriment of my own company. David Cochrane: Am I understanding you correctly there? It was a defensive acquisition?

"Can you explain why this member is getting a promotion after he ripped off the people of this province?" On the first day of the fall sitting, Premier Ford dodges questions about why Stan Cho, who resigned from cabinet this summer after charging taxpayers for local hotel stays, has been promoted to an education role with a $22K pay bump.

Weโ€™re back at Queenโ€™s Park. Doug Ford took 21 weeks off from the legislature. I spent that time in communities from Scarborough to Thunder Bay, and I heard one thing loud and clear: life is getting too expensive. Now Ford has a choice. He can show up for the people of Ontario, or keep helping himself and his insiders. Weโ€™re here to lower your costs and put money back in your pocket.
