I don't recommend it for everyone, but I am in the process of fully embracing some form of 'nihilistic apocaloptamism'.
The hardest part so far, undoubtedly, is accepting that exponentially more suffering and death await billions of people who had no say in the matter.
My climate anxiety is at max capacity . How do people just not give a flying fuk? It’s changing before our eyes and people say “oh wow the weather is so weird” “this fruit/vegetable is tasteless” “it’s so hot” , wildfires, flooding, no bugs, destroyed crops, etc it’s all climate change. There’s no going back, and I’m not quite sure how we will move forward because no one that needs to seems care

This is a trojan horse, Kenyans. It's an imperialist plant. We've been being prepared for this Kamala Harris moment, and the experiment is being done on us before it's exported to the US.
This is why they are attacking women who hold positions that are alternatives to representationism, whether you're talking of church women or women who are anti-imperialist. They are even announcing plans to infiltrate women's church groups. The plan is to kill the diversity of women's politics so that we women are only singing nonsense about being at the table and not dismantling the table.
To understand the tactic, you have to go back to the Obama presidency. Obama's presidency broke black politics. It turned the most radical political constituency in US politics to a pro-war, pro-capitalist one. Look for the work by Glen Ford, and lately, FD signifier on this. With that success, the focus now turned to black women. They tried it with Kamala Harris and it failed to work. So now they are pushing it in Kenya where our people are less media and politics-savvy.
This is a counter-revolutionary force being used to distract us from the possible Sifuna candidature that is disrupting the CIA plan to break political consciousness in Kenya. They already broke us with CBC. They got us to give up our right to knowledge and thinking. Now they are coming for the kill.
There was no poll done. @K24Tv is lying through its teeth, but the reason why is more disturbing. Kenyans have to put on their thinking caps and read. Read, read, read.
Governor Anne Waiguru leads the race for President William Ruto’s preferred running mate at 43%, ahead of Deputy President Kithure Kindiki at 30% and Governor Gladys Wanga at 13%.
Waiguru holds a 13-percentage-point lead over Kindiki and a commanding 30-point margin over Wanga, positioning her as a leading contender for the running mate slot ahead of the 2027 General Election, recent poll shows

The guy who kept Shaq and Charles Barkley in line on TV for 37 years used to spend his mornings shaving and dressing his son, who could barely move and breathed through a ventilator. Then he'd go to work and laugh with those guys all night like nothing was going on.
Tonight Ernie Johnson said this season will be his last, and Barkley tried to thank him on air and couldn't get the words out.
I don't think most people watching that clip know what Ernie was carrying all those years.
He and his wife Cheryl adopted Michael from an orphanage outside Bucharest in 1991, when he was 3. He had Duchenne muscular dystrophy, and doctors didn't think he'd make it to his 20s. He lived to 33. When Ernie was home, getting Michael ready in the morning could take an hour and a half, and Ernie did the showering and shaving and dressing himself.
In 2006 he told viewers he had non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, and by the end of October he was back at the desk while he was still going through chemo.
When Michael died in 2021, Ernie wasn't on the show that week, and Shaq, Kenny and Chuck spent about six minutes trying to hold it together while they talked about a kid most of America never met.
Then last year he had heart bypass surgery, and this summer he turned 70.
Ernie's dad pitched in the big leagues and then called Braves games for decades, and he gave his son a rule Ernie's talked about forever: if somebody spikes you at second base, never rub.
If you've ever wondered why nobody's been able to copy Inside, that rule is a big part of it. Barkley could say the dumbest thing imaginable, Shaq could fall out of his chair, Kenny could go running to the big board, and Ernie would just pick it up and bring it back to basketball with that yellow legal pad. Those three got to be chaos because the guy in the middle never made his own stuff the show.
He still calls hosting a "get-to job," and he was calling it that the same year he buried his son.
So when Charles Barkley, who's roasted pretty much everybody alive on live TV, can't finish a sentence to the man, that's why.
Charles Barkley and the guys give Ernie Johnson his flowers. This is a must watch.

n 1986 a guy got kicked out of every casino in Vegas for counting cards. So he flew to Hong Kong with $180,000 and started betting on horses instead.
He walked away with almost $900 million.
It was Bill Benter.
He realized horse racing was just another counting problem same math, more moving parts.
He and a partner built a computer model that estimated the true odds of each horse. If his numbers showed an edge, he bet. If not, he skipped it.
That’s the whole trick:
Expected value.
EV = p · b − (1 − p)
Only bet when the probability of winning × the potential payout is greater than the chance of losing.
What’s even crazier is that Benter once gave a 45-minute lecture explaining the math behind his system.
That recording was never supposed to become public.
And almost nobody knows it exists.
This is the lecture that professional bettors and hedge fund analysts studied.
The answer is in this video.
