Ben and James on ER01 have attended one call so far this evening, for a category 1 anaphylaxis call. They were backed up by a local CFR, and an ambulance from @EastEnglandAmb Thanks to all the volunteers and staff across the region keeping patients safe tonight

Ben works as a senior manager in a local hospital. He has been with the team for 18 months. "Volunteering helps me to better understand the patient journey, and it is a privilege to be in a patient facing role, supporting my local community in their time of need" #Volunteersweek

Both our Critical Care and Emergency Responder volunteer teams are providing daily cover across Beds & Herts this Easter Bank Holiday weekend 🐣 Working in partnership with colleagues from EEAST our crews are responding to some of the highest acuity calls across the region.

“My daughter recently turned two and I got to share that moment with my wife thanks to the two of you. Thanks for helping me that day” An emotional reunion for our Critical Care team 💚

We couldn’t agree more… We’re so fortunate to have amazing support at @EastEnglandAmb from @EeastTbarker driving us forwards, Pat providing our training & local teams supporting us. ERs have already expanded within EEAST with @NARSBASICS - who will be next??

It’s been great to welcome our 3rd cohort of ERs to their inductions this weekend 🚑🚨 The growth of our team also sees the introduction of BHER03, which will be based in Bedfordshire. Our thanks go to @t_riple9 for their ongoing support of the BHECCS fleet 👊 @EastEnglandAmb

Thank you to our friends at @BedsFire for housing one of our Critical Care vehicles over the last three months. Due to building works at Luton Ambulance Station, Luton Fire Station generously agreed to provide a base for us, allowing us to continue our mission to save lives 🚑
