🇧🇭🔻 Opposition Forces in Bahrain: The Statement by Ayatollah Qassim Is a Field Roadmap for Overthrowing the Authority's Decisions and Defending Religion and the Scholars In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful The national Opposition Forces in Bahrain express their strong condemnation of the authority's insistence on continuing the trial sessions of the venerable scholars, and renew their denunciation — in the strongest terms — of the policy of revenge and arrogance against our dear people, its scholars, and its sanctities, against the backdrop of their decisive stance in opposing the projects of hegemony and aggression led by the United States and the usurping entity, including the aggression against the Islamic Republic and the liberation forces in the region, and its standing behind the stirring of strife and discord between the peoples of the region and neighboring states. In light of the ongoing developments, the Opposition Forces highlight the following positions: 1- We express our full support for the statement issued by Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Ahmed Qassim (may Allah protect him), dated October 5 of this month, in which His Eminence stressed the condemnation of the authority's decisions in Bahrain that target the people's identity and religious rituals, and considered them rejected in their entirety and in detail, and that they go against the rulings of the Divine Law, and contradict the most basic recognized standards of human rights and freedom of belief. 2- We affirm that the people of Bahrain and its scholars will stand in one rank with the «rational and practical religious» position that His Eminence Sheikh Qassim (may Allah protect him) stressed, and that the authority will find no retreat or submission from our loyal people, and the word will be one and strong from everyone, and at the highest levels of fierce opposition dictated by the utmost resolve and firmness in the path of religion and faith. 3- We renew our salutation and reverence to our dear people who answered the call of support for the venerable scholars held hostage, and who took guidance from their pure conduct in defending the homeland's identity and its faith, and we urge all its sons to fully follow the footsteps of the scholarly leadership, foremost among them His Eminence Ayatollah Sheikh Qassim, and that his words be a guiding light amidst this injustice and darkness that descends upon our country, and that everyone race to transform his luminous statements into lines on the ground and action programs in all fields, until the overthrow of the authority's unjust decisions and the curbing of its transgressions against religion and the sanctities. 4- We have absolute confidence in the steadfastness of our scholars and our imprisoned symbols, and that their patience and steadfastness will be the key to relief and deliverance for our country and our people, by the will of Allah Almighty, affirming that the unjust trials and false accusations will not scratch a fingertip of their sublimity, dignity, and honor, and they will remain a beacon for religion and the homeland, and through them and the sons of our people, a bright tomorrow will be prepared toward justice, freedom, and a dignified life. 🇧🇭🟡 Al-Wafaa Islamic Party: We Condemn the Political Trials and Religious Persecution in Bahrain In a scene that encapsulates the chapters of systematic targeting, the vanguard of the religious presence in Bahrain stood today inside the halls of the authority's courts, not in the position of the accused, but in the station of honorable representation of the authentic Shi'i component. That session, which lasted for hours, was nothing but a clear embodiment and an evident declaration of this ruling regime's enmity toward everything connected to the authenticity of religion and the homeland. Political trials in which the most basic standards of justice and legitimacy are squandered, accompanied by deliberate postponement to keep the venerable scholars under arrest, represent nothing but a crude persistence in religious and political persecution. We stand in solidarity with you in the face of the arbitrary, unjust, and oppressive campaign that targets our people, our community — the honorable ones, the scholars, the cultural elites, and the free. The Bahraini authorities have unfortunately carried out a wide arrest campaign that has affected more than forty scholars — honorable, prominent scholars. Their sin is that they rose, guided others, and rejected normalization with the usurping "Israeli" entity, that savage entity with a history of massacres. Our people acted from the standpoint of religious, legal, and patriotic responsibility in rejecting all forms of normalization with the "Israeli" occupation. #53_Torches | His Eminence Sayyed Hussein Amin al-Sayyed, Teacher at the Religious Seminary: A Group of Mujahideen Scholars I seek refuge in Allah, by the grace of Allah, in the name of Allah, and blessings of Allah be upon Muhammad and his household, the people of Allah, and peace be upon the Wali of Allah "Indeed, they were youths who believed in their Lord, and We increased them in guidance." (Quran 18: 13). This is their sin, their fault, and their crime before this lot: a group of mujahideen scholars who spoke the word of truth in the face of an unjust ruler. #53_Torches | Palestinian Human Rights Activist Mr. Fouad Bakr: It Is an Incapable State From the Palestinian people who have known the meaning of prison, arrest, repression, and injustice, I say: all solidarity with the detainees of conscience, with the prisoners of conscience in this world. And we stand in solidarity specifically with the prisoners of conscience in Bahrain. Here I say that a strong state cannot be built through fear, and stability is not achieved behind bars. Rather, it deepens the wound and increases the crisis. A state should not place one who holds an opinion in prison, because freedom cannot be the price of the word. And a state that fears this word is an incapable state, and it has said in an indirect manner that he is right when he said what he said, for when you have no argument, you resort either to political targeting, or to killing, or to arrest. And I say that whoever resorts to these practices is proof that he has no standing or argument to defend himself. I say to you: Listen well to history and read it well, for no political prisoner has ever remained in prison forever in this world. #53_Torches | Ms. Rola Butkaji, Vice President of the Saida Cultural Forum: You Are the Sons of Authentic Islam Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. I address this recorded message to the two brotherly peoples in the Hijaz and Bahrain. I say: You are brothers in Allah, in religion, and in Arabism, and no one will be able to divide you. Regimes, as we know, my brothers, constantly change, but the beliefs of peoples and their firmly rooted religious culture do not change and do not vanish, no matter what happens. You are the sons of authentic Muhammadan Islam. And if today you are enduring and suffering from injustice, or discrimination, or the like, that will change nothing in your beliefs, your religion, or your faith. And if I have a final word, I direct it to the Bahraini authorities. I say what Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "There is wide scope in dispensation of justice, and he who finds it hard to act justly will find it harder to deal with injustice." (Nahjul Balagha, Sermon 15) Therefore, I appeal with love to the Bahraini authorities. I say: The people, in all their components, are a trust upon your necks.
