Andoni Iraola on Alexander Isak:
“He’s always been a good finisher. If we can put him in position around the box, he will deliver the goal, the result.
“He also knows that he has to help the team, so the team can play better and we can give him more chances to score. He’s understanding this and he’s improving in other areas where he hasn’t been as good.
“I’m happy because he’s doing the job.” 🔴

Munoz actually got injured that one time against Brentford, kept playing, moved to RB, scored our equalizer and is still recovering. He understood how important this game was for us. He's the ultimate Liverpool player. Literally runs through a wall for us

Development is nonlinear and different positions have different timelines. Strikers & center backs often take longer to contribute. Wingers & fullbacks usually a bit earlier. Midfielders are sort of a mixed bag, probably one of the highest variance positions currently in the sport.
I expect Eden to follow a similar trajectory to Trey and Rio. Abe may take longer because of injuries. Wright’s a striker, so I don’t expect genuine contributions until about 21. Similar thoughts for Ndiaye.

We lost one of the greats of stage and screen today. And, in my book, a tremendous friend and man. I learned so much from him. I will miss you, Patrick Stewart, all of my days. @mang0ld
