"Who should we recruit for a nostalgic Firefox ad?" Marketing:
How is the internet less private than in 2006, when the whole family shared one computer? Back then, the internet was weird, personal, and all of ours. So, we got your favorite meme legends back together to say it louder: What happened to the internet? 1/3

We took time off of X, but we’re back. The internet is changing again, so we’re here as an independent voice for our users and the open internet.

I swear EV Uber drivers are somehow incentivised to make passengers feel sick from constantly stomping on the accelerator.

I did a deep-dive into EFF's twitter content and can honestly say their content strategy is partly to blame for their drop in reach and engagement. Don't blame @elonmusk
After almost twenty years on the platform, EFF is logging off of X. This isn’t a decision we made lightly, but it might be overdue. 🧵(1/5)

There's extensive research that proves posts with external links are penalised (this is not new-news)

So in case some of you didn't know. X rewards native text and hot takes 🔥 not posts linking out to long blogs... EFF content approach is fundamentally incompatible with X's engagement incentives.

Non-profit doesn't understand how social media algorithms work > blames X > leaves. Most of the posts link OUT of X. Anyone who has used social media in the last two decades knows platforms will not prioritise content which pushes users off their platform.

Waiting for #Battlefield6 weekend 2 stats to pop up. I switched to M&K for the second week and interested to see my stats. Felt so much more fluid though...

Seeing people demanding a THIRD beta of what is already a pretty polished Battlefield game is wild. Let the team work through all the issues/bugs and wait til launch. You've got 8 days of free gametime on a truly AAA title already. Gamers are delusional nowadays.
