It's unfortunate that numerous national sports media folks with massive platforms immediately took to Twitter last night to cast doubt over Pitt's win and the field goal call.
Few credited Pitt for their night game road comeback, with a backup quarterback and against an unbeaten opponent, remaining undefeated on the year.
Now, there's video out that blatantly shows that the kick was missed & that the refs were correct. And there's crickets from those same media members. It's a shame.

Sidney Crosby, who has given back millions in salary to give the Penguins more cap space to sign players, becomes longest tenured athlete in Pittsburgh sports history on the same night Joey Porter, who faked injuries and refuses to play, gets traded.
Perfect.

Love this from Jared Jones.
Ryan O’Hearn, Jared Jones and Konnor Griffin have all made it clear that Brandon Lowe needs to be a Pirate in 2027.
I’d have to imagine Lowe is interested in a return if this is what they’re saying.
Ben Cherington has to get it done.
