Interesting to note that these are based on number of orders - if you look at them from a shares perspective, they look very different

February 605 wholesaler data is interesting. Price improvement in market orders increased by .0005 a share, but as a percent of spread, it decreased 114 basis points, falling below 20%

We do not believe that a regulatory solution will be timely or effective. A commercial solution will emerge that will provide more transparency and a broader range of participants. This will improve execution quality for both retail investors and mutual funds.
