We're intentionally building this with students. Your feedback can influence the program. Your contributions can influence the project.

As a Babelize Campus Ambassador, you'll have an opportunity to help grow an open-source community, introduce students to real projects and collaborate with other builders.

What makes a good campus ambassador? Not follower count. Not a perfect GitHub profile. Not being the smartest person in the room. It's bringing people together.

The goal isn't to become an open-source expert overnight. The goal is to make your first contribution. Then your second. Then your tenth.

Before touching an open-source issue, read the README, contribution guide, existing issues and recent PRs. Understand the project first. Then code.

We don't want a community built around follower counts. We want students who are curious, consistent and willing to contribute.

Your college doesn't have to be your entire developer network. Open source lets you collaborate with people you've never met, anywhere in the world.

If you're the person who joins hackathons, starts side projects, follows new tech or helps friends build things, you might already be a community builder.

A good open-source contribution can teach you things tutorials can't: reading unfamiliar code, communicating changes, handling feedback and shipping responsibly.

Imagine opening your GitHub profile a year from now and seeing real PRs, reviews, collaborators and open-source work. You can start building that profile now.

We're looking for students who don't want to spend college only collecting certificates. We want builders.

You don't need five years of experience to contribute to open source. Start with docs, tests, examples, bug fixes or issue discussions.

Your resume says C++, Java, Python, React, Node.js. Almost every CS student has the same list. Now imagine adding: contributed to an open-source project.

We're building that community around Babelize Elements. And we're opening the door to students who want to help us build it.

What if your college had an open-source community where students could build real projects, make PRs, collaborate with developers and build a public portfolio? We think every campus should have one.

Most students use GitHub to store code. Very few use it to build a reputation. Open source changes that.

Star it. Break it. Open an issue. Improve it. Build with it. That's what we want Babelize Elements to become.
