I Went to Fix My Phone, but What I Witnessed Left Me With One Big Question: What Do Men Really Want?
Today, I went to a phone repair shop to fix my phone. While I was there, a couple walked in. The woman’s phone was badly damaged, and they wanted to see if it could be repaired.
As the repairer asked what happened, the woman explained that she had caught her husband cheating on her with another woman. And the worst part? It happened on their matrimonial bed.
Can you imagine that?
She said she brought out her phone to record what she saw because she wanted evidence. But her husband snatched the phone from her and smashed it.
That was how her phone ended up at the repair shop.
As she narrated everything, I couldn't help but look at her. Honestly, this woman was beautiful. She had lovely skin, a beautiful face, a nice figure, and everything people might describe as attractive in a woman.
I found myself wondering, What exactly does this man want?
I mean, you have a beautiful wife at home, someone who shares your bed and your life, yet you bring another woman into the very bed you share with her?
That was the part I couldn't wrap my head around.
I don't know what the other woman looked like, and honestly, that shouldn't even be the point. But seeing this woman standing there, explaining how her husband had hurt her, made me feel so sorry for her.
The conversation eventually turned to the men at the shop, and I asked them a question that had been running through my mind.
"Please, as men, what do you really want? Is it about sex? Is it the excitement of being with someone else? Or can a man have a good, beautiful, loving wife and still feel the need to cheat?"
Because at this point, I honestly don't understand.
And let's not even talk about the disrespect of bringing another woman into your matrimonial home. The bedroom that is supposed to be a private space for you and your wife becomes the place where you betray her?
That is a different level of hurt.
I've come to realize that cheating isn't always about how beautiful your partner is or what she brings to the table. Sometimes, it has more to do with the choices a person makes and the kind of character they have.
But still, I want to ask you all this question.
Ladies and gentlemen, what do you think makes a man cheat on a woman who genuinely loves him? Can someone have a good partner and still be unfaithful, no matter how much that person gives?

I refused to open my door to a delivery driver at 5:45 a.m., and afterward, I started feeling guilty.
I live with my husband, Daniel, in a quiet neighborhood outside Charlotte, North Carolina.
He leaves for the gym around 4:50 a.m., while I usually wake up at 6:45.
One morning, loud knocking woke me up.
Me: “Who is it?”
Driver: “DoorDash. I have a delivery from Walgreens.”
Me: “I didn't order anything. Please leave it by the door.”
Driver: “Someone over 21 has to sign for it.”
I tried calling Daniel, but he didn't answer. It was still dark outside, and I wasn't comfortable opening the door to a stranger I hadn't expected.
Me: “I'm not opening the door. I don't know what this package is.”
Driver: “Ma'am, I need your signature.”
When he knocked again and insisted I come closer, I became nervous.
Me: “Please leave. I'm calling the police.”
He continued knocking, so I called 911. A few minutes later, he finally left.
