The whole “don’t have children” trend is getting weird as all things do here because it’s said by women who think they’re “smart” for not having kids. Some women actually want to become Mums & some women don’t regret having their children regardless of how hard being a parent is.

Someone going through an ordeal with a deadbeat isn’t your time to chime in and tell people that they shouldn’t have children out of wedlock or that they’d be better off if they didn’t have children in the first place. You guys are losing empathy and common decency.

The vitriol directed at women who have children with terrible men (for not choosing good dad’s) is the same vitriol directed at children for existing & it’s not cute at all. A woman’s choice to bring a child a child into this world should always be respected.

The upsetting thing about deadbeat parents is that they are such providers to their partners and their friends. They make it rain there. They just draw the line on their children. And in many cases, they will never fight to be primary caregivers to these children.

Women will knowingly get into relationships with violent men who have a known + public history of being violent & once they’re on the receiving end of that violence now we’re expected to rally behind them & support them & I’m not going to that nonsense.

In South Africa R16000 could literally fix A LOT of people’s problems. 4 items of groceries literally cost R1000 & there are people who are worried about how they’re going to buy a R16000 stroller.
