Again, it's in the interests of many different factions in American politics to pretend that the years 2008-2015 did not happen. You can't sustain this claim if you were looking at pictures of Barack Obama with a bone through his nose on a regular basis.
I actually think one of the worst effects of the Woke era is that people became desensitized to being called "racist" and just stopped caring. This opened the door for actual virulent racists to gain traction both culturally and politically.

I am extremely happy to see that “let people smoke meth on the subway” leftism is finally dying out
🚨 At the U20 Mayors Summit, Mamdani Says the Left Has Ceded “Quality of Life,” “Efficiency,” and “Fraud and Waste” to the Right This was one of the more interesting arguments Zohran Mamdani made today at the U20 Mayors Summit, and a reminder that he can be genuinely sharp when he drops the “central casting” routine. “In New York City, there are certain words that have taken on ideological associations.” “Quality of life has come to be seen as somehow a right-wing concern. Efficiency… has been taken on as a right-wing concern, rooting out fraud and waste, a right-wing concern.” Mamdani’s argument is that refusing to engage those issues actually helps the Right. “If you are staring at an example of social disorder or social inefficiency, and the left refuses to explain either why it has happened or how they will fix it, then the right gets to point at someone in the immediate area and say, ‘That’s who did it.’” The harder question is how much of the broader Left is actually prepared to follow the advice.

For those who don’t live around here, here’s how stupid this idea is: the arch is planned for a traffic circle within spitting distance of the PENTAGON. The idea of storing ammunition and drones there, and not the PENTAGON, which is a three minute drive away, is beyond dumb.
Beyond parody: "At the strong request of the United States Military, and for National Security purposes, I have agreed to convert the magnificent Triumphal Arch, planned since the Civil War Era many years ago, at the Receptive Circle adjoining the Arlington Memorial Bridge, into a top grade Military Complex/Triumphal Arch, to house, store, and have the rapid ability to use large numbers of drones, plus Snipers, on both the roof and plaza areas, and additionally have and hold large quantities of sniper ammunition in storage."

I wonder if he keeps calling it the "Triumphal" arch because it's close to "Trump"? He would *never* be that narcissistic, no way!
Trump panics about widespread revulsion at his Arch, so is trying to cloak it in national security to steamroll the normal approval process and Congress. It's even more important to stop it now, as a test case of not letting him use "national security" to do anything he wants.

Maybe if y'all hadn't spent the last 10 fucking years normalizing a wannabe dictator because the media's entire business model is now predicated on clicks, access, and conflict, people would rise to your defense, but you made this bed buddy ..

Here's how many stock trades presidents have made: Clinton: 0 GW Bush: 0 Obama: 0 Trump's first term: 517 Biden: 0 Trump's second term: 24,000+ Trump is the only President who has traded stocks while sitting in the Oval Office. He's rigging the system in real time.

SCOTUS are supposedly very sensitive to partisan talk that undermines their importance.
People argued in 2016 that a woman was too emotional to serve as President.

Scoop: The Flight 93 National Memorial changed their ceremony to the afternoon for the first time ever on Friday in order to accommodate a POTUS or VP visit and allow time for Secret Service checks. But neither Trump nor Vance bothered to come. Shameful, yet not surprising.
