Tomorrow, Oct 30, most Balancer pools move to withdrawals only and bug bounty coverage ends. We recommend exiting by then.
There is nothing to claim. Balancer will never DM you or ask you to approve tokens. Stay safe and watch out for scammers.

Reminder: on October 30, most Balancer pools move to withdrawals only, as approved in BIP-928 and BIP-936.
Your funds stay in your control. Withdrawals remain available after that date.

If you've used Balancer before, you may still have funds or rewards sitting in the protocol.
While reviewing DAO-owned assets, contributors also checked historical positions held by outside users. So far, more than $500k has been identified and the owners have been notified.

The legacy interface stays available as the simplest way to withdraw from v1, v2 and v3 pools and to unstake gauges. A manual exit guide covers direct contract withdrawals.

Most of these positions fall into two categories that portfolio dashboards can easily miss.
Balancer v3 buffer liquidity uses internal Vault accounting, so it may not show up on block explorers or DeBank.
Legacy v2 liquidity mining contracts can also hold partner rewards that are still claimable after the liquidity itself was withdrawn.

Balancer Foundation is the agent of the DAO. All distribution will happen o chain via auditable contracts.
Voting has closed. BIP-928 passed and BIP-929 did not. The timeline and what it means for LPs and BAL holders are in the thread below.

Thank you to everyone who read, challenged and voted on both proposals.

If you hold BAL, there's nothing to do yet. From the end of May 2027, you can burn BAL for a pro rata share of the treasury, with the exact date announced at least two weeks ahead. tetuBAL holders will receive BAL equal to 50% of what's locked behind their tokens.
None of this happens before then, so any site or DM offering to redeem BAL now is a scam.
If you provide liquidity on Balancer, you can withdraw at any time, before or after these dates. The contracts are non-custodial, so this doesn't depend on Balancer operating.
Guides for exiting through the app, third-party tools or directly onchain will be published before October 30th.
Key dates:
-> October 16th: last day for partners to ask for specific V3 pools to stay live until November 30th
-> October 30th: pools move to withdrawals only where the contracts allow it, and bug bounty coverage ends
-> November 30th: the V3 Vault is paused
-> End of May 2027: the first treasury distribution round opens
Voting ends today at 6PM UTC.
Cast your votes (BIPs 928 and 929): snapshot.org/#/s:balancer.et…
Two votes will decide Balancer's future.
BIP-928 proposes an orderly wind-down that distributes the treasury to BAL holders, and BIP-929 an official fork that carries the technology forward under a new name. Both are live on Snapshot until Tuesday, September 29th at 6PM UTC.
Here's what will change and how to cast your vote.
