@Sheldino_D says he focuses on the amount he’s willing to risk, keeping spot and leverage accounts separate so he can hold longer term positions while trading shorter moves.
“You can choose if you wanna put your 10K in and put $300 in, or you wanna put $1,000 on leverage and risk $300. It's the same thing for me.”
“Spot account, I'm holding for three to six to 12 months, those bigger moves. That's where my spot trades are sitting.”
“The leverage positions, I'm going for the first 20% move, and if it works out then I can get the bigger move, yes.”
