We join the journalism community in welcoming @evangershkovich and Alsu Kurmasheva home after being wrongfully detained in Russia. Journalists work every day to shine light on dark corners of the world and should never be used as pawns to try to silence a free press.

We are so thankful @Annenberg_FDN team could work w/ @mhdcd8 and @MayorOfLA and @WeAreHolos together to create the latest housing for our unhoused citizens in LA
This innovative housing with stacked shipping containers made to minimize noise and air pollution will house more than 50 formerly homeless Angelenos, seniors and Veterans.
This is what's possible when philanthropy, government and all sectors come together to move our city forward.
We are putting Executive Directive 1 to work –– accelerating more permanent supportive housing solutions to end the cycle of homelessness.
Thanks to @DanaPerino and @deemyers for organizing this bipartisan committee to support the memorial at the National Mall to honor journalists who lost their lives while pursuing truth. @FJMemorial
