I agree. I would need to see a fucking Corps (tens of thousands) of troops for that. Even something division size (10k) would be a joke.

I note that Col. Douglas MacGregor is predicting an American ground invasion of Iran.
I will repeat what I have said many times: there is ZERO probability of a US ground invasion of Iran. It cannot be done and will not happen.

Anyone know what’s going on with the very sudden smear campaign of @zei_squirrel?
So much winning 🙃

Counts of Trump's victory claims in the US-Iran war (started late February 2026) vary by source and criteria. One compilation details 9 explicit instances through August, including "we won in the first hour" and "total and complete victory." Broader tallies of success or near-end statements range from dozens to over 60. The conflict continues.

They are releasing 100M barrels because the strait is open and the oil is flowing
Or they're lying to you.

This retard Bessent (who unfollowed me) can't hid his Orwellian "stabilize" spin: gas at the pump up ~50% since Trump 2 came to office.
@SecScottBessent, you idiot, who are you bullshitting?
Under President Trump’s leadership, the United States is delivering on its commitments to help stabilize global energy markets. Our European partners should accelerate delivery on their existing commitments and make additional supplies immediately available to address ongoing disruptions. American farmers, truckers, and businesses should not be left carrying the burden of a global diesel shortage. America is doing its part. We look to our allies to match their commitments with action.

Even when unprompted, Trump will always frame the Iran War in terms of defending Israel.

Black person explaining what racism is: It’s when we’re killed and systemically abused and deprived of opportunities because of our race.
Zionist explaining what antisemitism is: It’s when someone says Jews aren’t entitled to an ethnostate located in the region described in their ancient scriptures where thousands of years ago people who practiced a similar religion used to live, or when someone opposes sending missiles to that ethnostate.
🚨 GOLDMAN SACHS DROPS DOOMSDAY STATEMENT: U.S. BONDS HAVE NO BUYERS
Goldman Sachs just admitted the long end of U.S. Treasury market is “totally bidless.”
Translation: almost nobody wants the 10- to 30-year debt the U.S. is trying to sell.
No buyers. None. Zero.
While Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent tells Congress we’re in an “illiquid period,” doubles then triples long-bond buybacks, taps the General Treasury Account to fund it and openly says “I am the house.”
Yields are surging anyway. The 10-year has pushed toward 5.3% and the 30-year is even higher, levels not seen in years while Japan, one of the biggest foreign holders, keeps selling Treasuries and bringing money home.
This was exactly warned by Japan’s @yutokanzakireal that the measures being prepared by Bank of Japan will affect the lives of billions of people and apologized to people of the West.
Soon after, Scott Bessent intervened and effectively took over BoJ operations which Japanese policymakers heavily criticized.
If the same ”bidless” condition hits the short-dated treasuries market, the entire U.S. debt market (and global) collapses.
The U.S. debt crisis will turn into a global liquidity crisis.

Why are the EU, Canada and Japan depleting their strategic reserves to deal with the consequences of a criminal war of aggression that Trump and Netanyahu began?
The EU, Canada and Japan have capitulated to Donald Trump yet again.
BREAKING: US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Canada have just agreed to a coordinated release of 100 million barrels of crude oil and diesel through the IEA, beginning immediately over four months, with a frontloaded substantial diesel release within the first 20 days, per Macron.
The G7 says it will coordinate refinery maintenance schedules to prevent simultaneous shutdowns, will convene at the IEA in the coming days on the possibility of additional diesel releases, and calls on all producers to refrain from export bans "that could exacerbate market tensions."
The US told Germany and France on Thursday to draw down their emergency diesel reserves immediately or face a US diesel export ban, and asked the EU for 120 million barrels over six months. The US offered its own 40 million barrel SPR release on Tuesday.

Pulling the wool, by increment.
“As is often the case, Defence intentions are revealed by increments.”
“The US Marines force on permanent rotation through Darwin has grown incrementally — from an initial deployment of 200 marines in 2012, to 2,500 troops today.
“There are some defence experts who want it boosted significantly in size and capability, perhaps to as many as 16,000 Marines.”

Ali makes an astute and important point.
I want Barghouti out, just as I want Dr AbuSafiyeh and countless others freed from Israeli gulags. But the fear is that empire has chosen a viable replacement for the ailing head of the collaborationist Vichy PA. That fear is real, and who knows what political transformation Barghouti has undergone after decades of solitary confinement, mental and physical torture.
Why are they focusing specifically on Barghouti? It is because “liberal” Zionists and notorious anti-Palestinians like @MargaretAtwood think he has the street cred that quisling traitor Mahmoud Abbas lacks to fully surrender Palestinian rights. Why Barghouti and not Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya? Why not every Palestinian in “Israel’s” rape and torture dungeons? This is another suspicious initiative.

There was no Russian grain transport through you joke of a country for over 4 years now...
Circus
Today, Estonia banned the transit of Russian and Belarusian grain through our territory.
Russia attacks Ukrainian ports, blocks Ukraine’s grain exports and then looks for new routes for its own grain. Estonia will not provide one.
I warned already in September: do not make plans to transport Russian grain through Estonia. Today, we turned that warning into law.
Together with Latvia and Lithuania, we are working to ensure that Baltic ports do not become a transit route for Russia.
Russia cannot wage a war of aggression and expect us to help keep its trade flowing. We will not help finance its war or make its aggression easier to sustain.
Seems like a downgrade TBH. Who needs Starbucks when you've already got better coffee cheaper from Luckin?
Starbucks opened two stores in Urumqi, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, on Sept. 29, marking its debut in the region and another step in its China expansion. ☕
The Grand Bazaar flagship blends bazaar-inspired design with Atlas silk, ethnic instruments and local flavors, including milk-skin salty milk tea. ✨
