MORE PORTS WILL ASSIST SECURING STAKEHOLDERS Investors value access with reliable delivery capabilities. Facility commitments desire Infrastructure First. #NorthernPassage can encourage Western Provinces to Reach #AtlanticMarkets with extended Daylight Hours. GROW with #CANADA
Trade missions to Japan, South Korea, Italy, the Gulf region, and beyond have helped secure more than $10 billion in commercial deals, supporting thousands of Canadian jobs. To build on this momentum, 300 Canadian business delegates from across Canada are joining me in India this week, the largest Canadian delegation to visit India in more than 30 years. In Mumbai and Bengaluru, we’re connecting Canadian companies in aerospace, agri-food and clean technology with Indian buyers and partners. I’ll also be advancing negotiations toward a CEPA trade agreement with India that will more than double our trade to $70 billion by 2030. I’m here to help our businesses find new customers and attract more investment to create good-paying jobs for Canadians.

RED TAPE REMOVAL, FINALLY Bill C-39 encourages respectful Time Lines. Ensures Investor Stakeholders proceed effectively to help build Facilities for #PORTS and Economic Growth, and to consult First Nations. Features Corporate & Local Guidance, too. #C39 #cdnpoli #CanadaMatters
The Conservatives have voted with the majority Liberals on Bill C-39’s first vote in the House of Commons. The bill will now be sent for study by a special committee. This is the right move by Poilievre IMHO. The bill reflects conservative principles. Neither the NDP nor the Greens have party status, and will not be included in the committee. ctvnews.ca/politics/article/…

GOOD NEWS - RELIABILITY Canada and USA have more than just a Big Border, we're TeamMates focused on Performance! Leadership Politics & Posturing Not as Important as Quality Food Groceries. CANADA 🇨🇦 must build more Port Infrastructure to secure #AtlanticMarkets for our West.
The latest figures offer a useful reality check. The U.S. supplies roughly 47% of our agri-food imports and receives approximately 62% of our agri-food exports. Neither share has fallen over the comparison period. (Read full article in comments).

🎵🇨🇦 THIS DAY IN CANADIAN MUSIC HISTORY 🇨🇦🎵 ALANIS MORISSETTE HITS #1 OCTOBER 7, 1995 On this day in 1995, a 21-year-old singer-songwriter from Ottawa reached the top of the American album chart. ALANIS MORISSETTE’S JAGGED LITTLE PILL hit #1 on the Billboard 200. And what had begun as a remarkable breakthrough was becoming a phenomenon. Released in June 1995, Jagged Little Pill represented an extraordinary transformation for Morissette. Canadian audiences had already known her as a teenage pop singer, but working with producer and co-writer Glen Ballard, Alanis emerged with something radically different — raw, confessional, angry, vulnerable and impossible to ignore. Then came “You Oughta Know.” The song exploded onto alternative radio and introduced a much wider audience to an Alanis Morissette they had never heard before. But Jagged Little Pill was much more than one breakthrough single. “Hand in My Pocket.” “You Learn.” “Head Over Feet.” “Ironic.” “All I Really Want.” The album seemed to keep producing another song that became part of the soundtrack of the mid-’90s. By October 7, Jagged Little Pill had climbed all the way to #1 on the Billboard 200. It wouldn’t be a brief visit. The album ultimately spent 12 weeks at #1 and became one of the defining records of the decade. Then came the Grammys. At the 1996 Grammy Awards, Morissette won four awards, including ALBUM OF THE YEAR and BEST ROCK ALBUM for Jagged Little Pill. “You Oughta Know” brought two more — BEST ROCK SONG, awarded to songwriters Alanis Morissette and Glen Ballard, and BEST FEMALE ROCK VOCAL PERFORMANCE for Morissette. The young singer who had started her career in Ottawa had become an international superstar. And three decades later, those songs remain instantly recognizable. But on October 7, 1995, one milestone made it official: The biggest album in America belonged to Alanis Morissette. 🇨🇦🎵 JAGGED LITTLE PILL — #1 ON THE BILLBOARD 200 🎵🇨🇦 Do you remember when Jagged Little Pill took over in 1995? What was your favourite song from the album? #AlanisMorissette #CanadianMusic #CanCon
