Join us on Tuesday, May 19, at 12 noon, in front of the hospital’s main entrance for a group photo with our amazing staff and neighbors. It’s our way of saying thanks to everyone, especially our Oregon legislators, for supporting us and healthcare on Oregon’s South Coast.
Bay Area Hospital reaches a milestone in 2024 - 50 years caring for the community. On May 19, 1974, we opened our doors with the idea of serving the area with one hospital. Since then, we've grown from a small-town hospital to the largest healthcare provider on the Oregon coast!
In observance of the Fourth of July holiday, the 1st-floor main entry doors of the hospital will be closed on Monday, July 4th. Please use the Emergency department entrance. We hope that you have a nice, safe holiday.
Our Emergency Department (ED) has an updated visitation policy effective immediately.
