Anyone have 2 Sand Scouts they’d lend? We’ve got someone in our group looking to borrow 2 for Legacy tomorrow. If you’re willing to lend let me know.
I’ve been on a crusade for years that Companion is utter dog shit and I’m not surprised it still is.

Get your final look at the Legacy paper meta with this great article on BCDLs 29 and 30 from this past weekend. If you’re wondering yes that’s Carey dressed as Wilfred in the Top 8 pic and fantastic cover art by @amkitani

Not sure what’s more difficult deciding on a deck for EW or which Thoughtseize will be my go to. Having foil MMQ Brainstorms leads to a certain pleasing aesthetic to using the SLD ones.
Top 4 of BCDL 29 in Houston is live. Come get you some beans!

I’ve never played Riftbound but like a lot of competitive MTG players see tons of it on my feed. Kudos to Riot on this decision and the thoroughness of the explanation. I’d love to see more transparency with how MTG handles similar situations.
‼ Riot Games has made a statement regarding Koko Lopez and has banned him from all sanctioned Riftbound tournaments and events until January 1st 2029! ‼
"Following an investigation into an incident at the Riftbound Regional Qualifier Los Angeles on September 26, 2026, Riot Games determined that Koko Lopez intentionally stacked his rune deck to gain a competitive advantage. Riot Games determined that this conduct constituted cheating under the Riftbound Tournament Rules."
"As a result, Koko Lopez is suspended from all sanctioned Riftbound tournaments and events, regardless of Organized Play Level, until January 1st, 2029."

If this isn’t reason enough to consider @QuiverTime I don’t know what is. Awesome story and glad some expensive cards were saved. Quiver has some dope designs coming out featuring Invincible & Walking Dead from the @OverPowerLIVES. If you’re looking for a great game check it out.
Just wanted to say my Quiver is the reason I didn't lose my Vintage and EDH decks to water damage after a house fire when the rest of my collection was ruined. Your materials and zippers kept water out long enough that I was able to save Mt favorite decks. Thank you!

Yesterday, Wizards informed us that it doesn’t intend to voluntarily recognize the D&D or Studio X units of our union ahead of a vote. We remain committed to creating a workplace focused on wellness, transparency, and collaboration by winning our coming election.

❗Attention, union supporters ❗
We're asking Wizards and Hasbro to voluntarily recognize our union—and you can help! Sign our petition today and show our leadership that you want change in the gaming industry.

BCDL supports #WOTCStaff and we’re watching management’s response. Attempts to union bust or deny workers rights will be met with backlash are unacceptable. We support the staff that make our favorite games.
This morning, the D&D team and Magic's Studio X informed our leadership of our intent to unionize. We love the games we make and the work we do, and unionizing is how we protect that work.
