What you’re missing is that everyone zidelined from $ZEC will FOMO into $ZCAT.
As you see Zcash start flipping more coins and closing in on Bitcoin, enormous amounts of zidelined capital will start flowing into $ZCAT. The snowball effect of this is unimaginable, especially with both the AI and quantum narratives favouring $ZEC as a hedge against everything.
First-mover advantage, FOMO, and fundamentals backed by real on-chain cash flows.
Even the biggest $ZCAT bulls will be jaw dropped by the end of this. Like I said before stop trading and start believing slaps way harder when you are yielding encrypted quantum resistant gold.

$ZCAT isn’t just the next $WIF. It’s much more than that.

The $ZCAT Analysis:
Bag stays on IMO.
1) Macro tailwinds easing off
2) Advancing Clarity Act = failed
3) FOMC = hiked and even suggested hiking more towards EOY
Markets response? BTC + ETH flat, ZEC rips, numerous onchain rips.
One of the very many interesting aspects of the $ZEC and $ZCAT dynamic is the ability for the beta play (ZCAT) to support the underlying (ZEC)
Historically in crypto markets it has worked like this:
> Majors pump
> After confirmation of strong pump, people search for beta plays
> Market supports this for a short period
> After a while, market cannot support liquidity extending down the risk curve to betas on betas on betas
> Eventually majors suffer
> Majors roll over, whole party ends
But with the ZCAT + ZEC dynamic, it's actually plausible that a full blown, aggressive ZCAT run that goes to WIF or BOME levels of volume will aid and support the underlying asset aka ZEC.
You might be thinking, ok but how much buying pressure would a small memecoin have vs a large cap top 10 coin?
Honestly, a lot.
ZEC is PoW, and miners sell rewards regularly to pay their electricity bills (OPEX), so issuance is a relatively constant source of sell pressure.
That's why I've measured the tax buys in "days of issuance offset" as it benchmarks the buying against structural selling rather than against sentiment-driven volume.
Not every mining operation behaves the same, but it's the steadiest reference point a PoW asset offers vs PoS.
So what's the numbers? How many days would be offset?
For one day:
At $WIF peak volume, $ZCAT would be buying the equivalent of 35 days of selling pressure.
For $BOME ? 65 days....
$81M and $153M in buys respectively.
These numbers are important because thye represent just one single day of ZCAT tax buying. Short periods of tight aggressiveness like this can cause charts to explode.
The caveat here is a lot of this volume was on CEX's and they would struggle to implement the 3% tax rule. But you can still cut those figures in half or more and still have very respectable outcomes for ONE day of tax buying...
This is a new crypto paradigm and I think people are sleeping on it because they think 'it's just a memecoin' and they aren't convinced we're in a bull market.
Massive information asymmetry.
