I read the full O'Toole article... Deary me.
The argument put forward that those of us working on Palestine lack historical awareness, empathy, or understanding on what Zionism is, is patronising beyond belief.
He really needs to read more. Start here:

BELFAST INDEPENDENT BOOKSTORE WILL CONTINUE TO SELL SALLY ROONEY BOOKS. 🇵🇸
Belfast Independent Bookstore "No Alibi's" have said that they will continue to sell books by Irish author Sally Rooney (whose books have been withdrawn from shops in Britain due to her support for Palestine Action).
The owner of No Alibi's David Torrens said: "As long as we can continue to source and distribute Sally's books, then we will continue to sell them".

I have said it before but for those on my followers not from NI: Those 35 individual men r free to wlk down Garvaghy Road anytime. They r not stopped bcuz they r Protestant. Objection is walking road as representatives of the Orange Order trying to assert its claim on the land.

They had a second vote....
@FAIreland looking very bad here.
They won't give the figures.
It seems they didn't like the result of the first vote @IrelandFootball

A week to go to game 2. A week for the players to redeem themselves, stand with their courageous friend and teammate, and more importantly the kids of Gaza and South Lebanon. This isn't over. We go again 💪🇵🇸🇮🇪 #StopTheGame
Absolute disgrace - you will always be remembered for your cowardice. You didn’t listen to the fans, you hung your brave teammate Gavin Bazanu out to dry, and the nation is just utterly ashamed of every single one of you!
Just under two hours to kick off, just under two hours for the Irish team to go down in history as legends for upholding our proud legacy of solidarity with the oppressed. Don't cross the Palestinian picket line, don't play Israel. We will all be with you, stop the games.

If one more Irish player besides hero Gavin Bazunu stands firm and states "I will not join in sportswashing genocide" in the next 4 hours, @FAIreland MUST pull out of the match.
No black armband no matter how thick can cover up complicity.
One more player! Who will it be?
Replying to @PACBI
A significant number of players also voted against playing the fixtures with genocidal Israel.
We urge those players and the rest of the team to join Bazunu and refuse to play the matches as a matter of conscience.

I'm obsessed with the Ireland football team since Sheedy equalised against England in Cagliari on our World Cup debut. A love affair of a lifetime, travelling to tournaments, literally recalling periods of my life by how Ireland were doing and where in the world I was watching them from.
Recent events have broken that bond. The vast majority of Ireland feels the same. But it's still not too late to bring this complete and utter shitshow to an end and once and for all #stopthegame

1. If you have to take a vote the day before a match on whether to play a country or not then you don’t have a team.
2. If 8 members of the team vote against playing a genocidal state & another 1 (hero) refuses to play then the team should go home.
DON'T PLAY

Surely Gavin Bazunu isn't the only squad member with a spine.
Don't play or live with the shame.

The game against Israel, and now the feckin Garvaghy road shite ressurected by the fuckin unionist orange bastards has made this a piss poor 24 hrs for Ireland!Hugely depressing!

It's hard to imagine how pulling out of the fixture could possibly make this sprawling shit show any worse for the @FAIreland

That's all for today's coverage.
While the squad are on the fence, it's blatantly clear that 99% of fans know exactly what should happen tomorrow.
Up Gavin Bazunu, up Brian Kerr, up Palestine.

Today is a colossal failure by the FAI. If they let this game go ahead, they will have let the bullies win. Symbolic gestures won’t cut it. The only acceptable action is to StopTheGame.
There is still time to do the right thing. Ireland will support you. #GavinBazunu
100%
Plenty of time for players to follow their conscience & Gavin Bazunu and not their wallets. Fuck those soulless agents intimidating the players into sportswashing genocide. #StopTheGame
