Election year accounting. The DA in the City of Cape Town tried to keep tariff and rates increases as low as possible in an election year.
Despite this, our bills are still unaffordable for all but the super rich. But the big blow comes when they make up for the election year “discount” - check out the projections for the next two years! 💥💥💥

GOOD welcomes the Electoral Court's decision to grant leave to appeal to the Supreme Court of Appeal.
The ruling recognises that there are reasonable prospects of a different outcome on the facts and the law. We look forward to this matter being fully considered and remain committed to transparency in political funding.

It's a no-brainer. If I lived in CT, I would vote for Good. Herron has a tangible track record of working on the other side of Clifton- for the people.
The Electoral Court has dismissed the DA's challenge to GOOD's PR list submission, finding no factual basis for allegations of bad faith or wrongdoing.
The rules were followed, the facts are clear, and democracy must be decided by voters, not courtrooms.

Cape Town cannot keep moving from one taxi war to the next.
The minibus taxi industry is the backbone of public transport for hundreds of thousands of commuters every day.
GOOD is calling for a permanent Minibus Taxi Task Team that works year-round to resolve disputes, improve regulation, and build a safer, more stable transport system for commuters and operators alike.
Peace on our roads starts with planning, dialogue and action.
