step 1: test everything for a week step 2: find the big bug on launch day step 3: call the delay a "quality decision"

How many times are people going to predict that Fable 5.5 is dropping today

"just ship it" is great advice from people whose products already work

I had to push my pilot back because I skipped checking a small feature. The small feature had a bug that broke a core feature (whoops) Just glad that I caught it before what would have been an embarrassing release

FC Augsburg believes it's quite terrible to have 17 other Bundesliga clubs sitting on a bunch of the league's limited supply of points.
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman believes people owning RAM is wasteful, and that it belongs in data centers instead. "From a global allocation perspective, actually, it’s quite terrible to have everyone have a bunch of the world’s limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer."

the biggest thing i've learned from 7 failed products is knowing when to kill something. it's not always the whole product. sometimes its just a feature, other times its a cool plan you've had for a while.

Well that’s not worrying at all
The ranking members of the House Judiciary and Oversight Committees have written a letter to President Trump asking whether he has been soliciting advice from Grok in order to help carry out his official duties as President of the United States. They also demanded that he preserve any prompts sent to Grok, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity, as well as outputs in response to those prompts, that were 'submitted to AI chatbots in carrying out your constitutional, statutory, or other official or ceremonial duties.' The letter was provided by Politico.

finalising my pilot and having to cut features i've been building for weeks. genuinely feels like i'm killing my children. but otherwise it would never launch.
