Majority of the “everybody” speaking out now were 12 years old maximum. Is this your excuse for going back to supporting repression and extrajudicial killings? Enyewe you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain!

Njue and Mary are just trigger happy bloggers with big following but no brains. If we are fighting against each other and I hit you, it is not a betrayal. The betrayal happens when your friends who you trusted also join me and start helping me beat you. This is exactly the predicament of ODM in 2024!

A government that has refused to fund healthcare leading to suffering and deaths from ordinary manageable illnesses wants to pay hundreds of millions to European football teams to come play in Kenya. A government that has refused to fund education causing hundreds of thousands of students to languish at home in violation of Article 53 and 55 has hundreds of millions to pay Bayern and Ajax. A government that has refused to pay lecturers who are now on strike has money to pay European clubs to come and play here. A government that has seen people die every year from floods has money to pay European clubs to come and play football here. A government that has refused to clean up Nairobi city which is now punctuated with the frequent foul stench of leaking sewage waste has money to pay Bayern and Ajax. A government that routinely murders its own youth such as Albert Ojwang and countless others murdered during legitimate protests thinks it can distract them with football. A government that spends 80% of our revenue servicing debt has money to pay foreign teams. @FCBayern and @AFCAjax if you accept any money from Ruto’s government, it is blood money. It is the blood of the people of Kenya that you will be pocketing. I hope your collective conscience calls you to reconsider.

Break down the math. Where does 2 billion come from exactly?
Talanta Stadium cost about 48 billion. One mega event like the Munuch Ajax match generates 2 billion in just two days, just 24 such events recover the investment. That’s achievable in a year. The money goes to businesses, hotels, vendors and workers, not just government. That’s how infrastructure drives economic growth. Iwinjo?!

A big win for International Refugee Law once again as the Court upholds the principle of non-refoulment & quashes the directive by the Kenyan Government that had imposed a blanket ban on registration of refugees from Ethiopia and Eritrea.. As the Swahili saying goes, “mjinga akierevuka, mwerevu huwa mashakani” when the fool wisens up, those who have been wise are in trouble. This has been the trend world over. The youth are becoming increasingly politically aware and politically involved. Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Serbia, Madagascar, Bulgaria and Peru have all seen their governments changed or toppled by the young people. Kenya, Tanzania, Morocco, Indonesia and the Philippines saw major protests in or around 2024 but their regimes thinly clung on to power. Let us focus on Kenya, our home. For far too long, the ruling class has deliberately excluded the young people from proper political participation, relegating them to voting machines and tools of violence meted against opponents. In 2024 the young people of Kenya showed that they can unite and rally behind a cause that is not led by any politician. That was the partyless and tribeless clarion call. But the politicians of old were terrified that they were losing their currency and would be swept by the youth wave. So they worked harder than usual to steer political conversations in the country back to tribal arithmetic. They have largely succeeded because most leading presidential contenders have retreated to their tribal cocoons and talk of coalitions is primarily in basis of tribal numbers. All except Edwin Sifuna who has found acceptability and favour from young people of all tribes, social classes and religions. And he scares the legacy politicians shitless. Right now, the opposition is as rattled as the government is. You see, in elite political circles, power has always been negotiated amongst age mates, old friends and former allies. Moi was Kenyatta’s vice president, Kibaki was Moi’s vice president. Uhuru is Kenyatta’s scion and Moi’s handpicked choice for president in 2002, he also served as Kibaki’s finance minister. Ruto was Moi’s political son and Uhuru’s sort of running mate in 2002 and ultimately deputy in 2013 onward. Kalonzo was Kibaki’s vice president between 2007 and 2013. The legacy politicians have always known that the presidency would be held by one of their own. That is why regardless of the ideological differences, they rallied behind Ruto when the young generation threatened to depose him. In 2027 it must not be BUSINESS AS USUAL. Kenya National Bureau of Statistics numbers have place young people aged 18 to 35 at around 16 Million out of 25 Million registered voters. There is a further 6 million who are eligible but not yet registered as voters. Young Kenyans have the opportunity of nation’s lifetime to redefine politics forever. Using technology, social media, their unity and their vibrance, they can neutralize the usual hurdles that have been erected to gate-keep political power such as money, tribal arithmetic and threat of violence. If young Kenyans can unite, organize and mobilize Kenya could have its Serbia moment in just 9 months.

Kusema na Kutenda If you would like to join this CITIZEN-LED, CITIZEN-DRIVEN volunteer programme, please see the link below, follow the prompts and fill the google form! Please note that the same is strictly on voluntary basis, ni kujitolea tu: google.com/url?q=https://doc…
Dear @LindaMwananchi_ To win this coming election, we MUST run a campaign like nothing has been run before in Kenya. We cannot only rely on the old methods and hope to beat the veterans who have been doing those things for years! First of all, the movement must realize where its greatest strength lies. LMM’s greatest strength comes from being owned by the young people. The hopeful, energetic, enthusiastic young people who are full of ideas. Linda Mwananchi MUST find an effective way to tap into this energy and brilliance. My suggestion is to have a robust volunteer program which invites volunteers to the campaign, vets them, evaluates their abilities and assigns them roles in the campaign purely on a VOLUNTARY basis. The only thing such volunteers would need is recognition and assurance that the movement shall NEVER betray its core ideals. This program if well run, has the potential to provide the largest group of boots on the ground in the entire nation. We have professionals such as medics, lawyers, teachers and others who are willing to volunteer. We also have creatives such as musicians, influencers and tiktokers who have already volunteered their services and are doing good work. They just need to be organized, focused and integrated into the formal structures of the movement. Next, fundraising MUST not just be through the traditional pay bill means. Please let us get creative! Let us have merchandise on sale on the website where people can buy not only for themselves but also for others. Let us have an option for people to donate in kind. You may have someone who owns a car and wants to donate it, let them. Let there be a register of donations and personal acknowledgment to each donor. After that, the manifesto must include all Kenyans, not just a few experts sitting and deciding what to do. Kenyans know the problems they face and they also know the solutions. Engage them more in conversations. Rallies are good but let us have many townhalls. In fact, a town hall can even be virtual. The way we had twitter spaces and TikTok live to discuss Finance Bill and other oppressive laws in 2024. Let us have at least two of these every week with a principal of Linda Mwananchi and preferably H.E Sifuna. These are very low cost but very high impact activities. During those townhalls, we listen and take note of what Kenyans want. These engagements will help the movement understand what to prioritize and to visualize how the first 100 days will look like. All these activities ant structures should culminate in having soldiers all around the 55,000 polling stations. Willing believers who want to change our country for the better. With at least 20 per polling station, our message will reach every nook and cranny on of Kenya. I am willing to be volunteer number 1 to give many more ideas that I have. @edwinsifuna @abbiezuena @genz___baddie @FredahOndu61763 @paulinenjoroge @gwamaee
