Eight-year-old Fatima Hisham al-Bayook has succumbed to her injuries after being struck by an Israeli bullet a few days ago east of Deir al-Balah, Gaza.
There had been desperate pleas for her urgent medical evacuation in the hope of saving her life.
After contacting her family, I can also confirm that Fatima’s mother and two younger siblings were killed in an Israeli strike on December 13, 2023.
Her siblings were Leen, a baby less than a year old, and Asaad, just three years old.
Israel’s terror and the systematic destruction of Palestinian families continue to unfold before the eyes of the world.

Israeli soldiers forced Palestinian families from their homes in Hebron in the occupied West Bank overnight Friday, taking control of the properties, marking houses with X signs and hanging Israeli flags from balconies. Troops also blocked roads and closed a nearby checkpoint, restricting movement in the neighborhood as the military expanded its presence in the area.
The operation followed an attack Friday in which two Palestinian gunmen killed two Israeli soldiers and wounded three others before being shot dead by Israeli forces. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had threatened a major military offensive following the attack.
Actually Rhodesia was the most successful decolonisation project in history. At least using this logic.
The return of the Jewish people to its indigenous land as a sovereign state is one of the most successful decolonizing stories of our time. The fact that some Jews have fair skin (common in the Levant) disqualifies us from our liberation being accepted (despite that fact that the Christian community has no qualms with using our Exodus liberation story for their benefit).
