Me ‘as now recovered from me operation and Mumsie says I’m me usual bouncy, silly self. She is also cooking me fish or chicken for me dins, six days a week to look after me liver thingy. So massive bonus, worth all me vetty visits and donations of me blood for tests. 😊😊

I’ve always found it hard to understand why MPs earning nearly £100,000 a year are allowed to accept thousands of pounds worth of gifts, tickets and hospitality.
They are elected to serve the public.
Not accept perks from companies and organisations that may want something from them.
It doesn’t mean every gift is corrupt.
But any system where politicians can receive expensive hospitality is open to abuse and risks undermining public trust.

I see Southern Water still repeating the same old lie, that it's OK to dump sewage "during periods of heavy rainfall".
Funny that, courts are very clear, that's illegal, sewage should only ever be dumped during "exceptional situations", "exceptional weather". In the UK there's nothing "exceptional", about heavy rain. Is there Southern Water? @EBNreporter
