Not what was said/done at all, sweetie. For years the Center needed renovations. It is unsafe . Trump was willing to get the funds necessary to renovate. A substantial renovation. The board put his name on the building out of appreciation. Then suit after suit got Trumps name removed. Trump said he would not spearhead the renovation . Work stopped and because there are no funds , the Center closed.

Chunks are literally dropping off the facade of the Kennedy Center. Trump tried to save it before by adding his name so he could get friends to donate for a renovation. His wealthy supporters want to donate when the project says Trump (like for the ballroom). It’s obvious that Trump does not respect the rule of law. It doesn’t matter that Trump essentially put himself in the role of the Board of Trustees, appointed a new Board of Trustees, all loyalists to him, to takeover the management of the building. The Federal Government rules over the Kennedy Center Building! That is the law. The Board only manages the building, in which Trump is responsible for the project. This does not give him any authority to put is name on the building. So, because his own EGO is so small, he is BANKRUPTING the building! How small of a man must Trump be to do all this, not to honor JFK, but to think he would get away with putting his name above JFK and to disrespect the whole Country by not following the rules of our Country. This action by Trump is so unpatriotic and unAmerican!
