I've had so many people ask about word counts, so I thought I'd share the standard word counts for published books in the genres I represent!
Word counts are one of the first pieces of information an agent looks at in your query, so they may be more important than you think!

It’s been quite a month. My son is recovering slowly but still in a lot of pain. Your prayers and messages have been so appreciated. ❤️ I’m working through my inbox slowly as I’m catching up with client work, a couple of contract, and a few projects going out on sub. 🌿🌺
Son update: He was discharged and was able to come back with us so we could care for him as he heals. We made it home, exhausted is an understatement, but so thankful to be out of the hospital.
Thank you for your prayers as he begins the road to recovery. 🙏❤️
Update: There was severe deceleration injury but his major organs are intact. Surgery went well and he’s stable but in pain. Under close observation for a few days. We’re so grateful for your prayers—please keep them coming.
Our son was in a car accident last night and rushed to the hospital. Currently stable. Internal bleeding. We’re still hours away.
