Yup. The reason metal lost support from radio, MTV, and the mainstream was that its musicians couldn’t be controlled. They crafted albums, not just hits, and their music took more effort to record and produce properly. It was much easier for the music industry to manufacture artists who were easier to control, with a simpler recording process, and shove them down people’s throats for greater profits. And they still do it to this day. But metal will ALWAYS stand because of the passion, the craftsmanship of its artists, and the dedication of its fans. Not because of “hits.” 🤘

What a fucking MILESTONE! I’ve been reading Absolute Batman since day one. Before it even hit shelves, I had it added to my pull list, and it’s stayed there ever since. I’ve read so many of Scott Snyder’s stories. The man is always cooking up something, but this Absolute Batman run is pure perfection. I’d rather not spoil anything for my friends who don’t keep up with the monthly single issues, but man, you have no idea how good this gets. And I suspect we’ve only scratched the surface. Nick Dragotta’s art in issue #25 is a master class in sequential art. God, I’m jealous of the people who end up owning these original pages. There are so many amazing variant covers for this issue. The Clay Mann & Nick Dragotta manga foil variant is so sick. I think this one will go down as the most sought-after version of the issue. But honestly any cover you can get for this issue is a winner. #AbsoluteBatman #dccomics #ReadComics

Bought the first volume of JAGAAAN It’s seriously weird, creepy, kind of cute, and overly sexual. Almost like if Parasyte and Gantz fucked. A decent amount of fan service, but with a genuinely interesting premise that’s too cool and ridiculous to spoil. It’s not a new series, but it’s being printed in English for the first time. Definitely worth checking out if you’re into seinen, gritty adult horror, and action. I’m definitely checking out volume 2!🤘🏻 JAGAAAN FUCKS #JAGAAAN #Manga #readcomics
