Every podcast and X space I am invited on is a massive privelege.
I spent years working as a copywriter and Ghostwrit3r, keeping my ideas, expertise, and knowledge to myself (and as a pen for hire).
Over the last year or two, I've made a concerted effort to attend events, be more vocal, and basically show up for the industry that changed my life for the better.
It would be so easy to jump ship and join a more robust industry, but how boring that would be. I bleed Web3.
They said we don’t need L1s, but @alephium is saying otherwise.
Crypto, and everything within it, is evolving. Despite that, we must focus on preserving the true values of decentralized finance.
That’s exactly what we discussed with @BigPepGhost!
Absolute dark day in crypto/web3 when the best PR firm in the industry are sending me crap AI slop pitches on LinkedIn.
Even worse, I used to work there, and back then the company held itself to a much higher standard and excelled through its use of top human copywriters and experienced account managers.
If even the best PR team in the industry (imho) don’t give a shit anymore, I really worry about what that signals to the rest of the PR and Marketing in this space.
I should be in Nepal right now visiting one of my best friends, but the airline cancelled the flight 6 weeks ago and didn’t tell me. Couldn’t get an alternative flight. Gutted. Feeling very down today.

💥 Powfi Updates 💥
Our core contributors continue to focus heavily on refining Powfi. If you’d like to support this process, they rely on active users reporting bugs, typically via Telegram, Discord, or Github. If you see something that doesn’t look quite right, or could be improved, please let us know!
🧑🏻💻 Building on Powfi has now been made easier than ever, thanks to the SDK.
🧑🏻💻 The developer kit sets itself up and works with the tools that apps already use, while we’ve also made improvements to integration reliability.
🧑🏻💻 Collecting earned fees when providing liquidity has been made even simpler.
🧑🏻💻 The “Unstaking in progress” section has been renamed for clarity (previously pending unstakings)
🧑🏻💻 Claimed amounts will be displayed on each unstake request, while refund amounts will be shown when cancelling an unstake.
🧑🏻💻 Unlock progress is now shown as a percentage, while the time remaining is shown in hours, not just days.
🧑🏻💻 Remaining unstake amounts are now correctly shown after partial claims.
🧑🏻💻 In the case that a claimed amount is too small to process, an explanation will appear to the user to inform them.
🐞 The devs have resolved a bug previously affecting pools without extra rewards and pools with zero liquidity.
⚙️ Pool rewards APRs now include liquidity mining rewards, not just trading fees.
⚙️ We’ve given APRs a clearer breakdown, so farmers can see exactly what they are earning.
🐞 Swap quotes have been updated on the backend, fixing a previous issue related to insufficient liquidity. Now, the app blocks a swap if it would move the price too much, displaying an “insufficient liquidity” message, so users don’t get a bad fill.
🐞 After solving a UI bug, now, when you add or remove liquidity on a concentrated liquidity position, the fees you can collect will show the correct amount.

📡 A new Full Node (v4.7.2) makes the network handle pending transactions more reliably.
📡 This update is recommended for mining pools and node operators.
📡 We found and fixed a stall issue on the testnet, so builders now have a much steadier test environment before deploying their dApps.
💰 Wallets 💰
🤳 The next release of the mobile wallet will feature several bug fixes, such as:
📱 iPhone users won’t get stuck in a Face ID unlock loop anymore.
📱 Screen brightness will return to normal after you show a QR code.
📱 The “Unstaking” screen has undergone a UI overhaul and improvement process.
☑️ Ledger users will now get a genuinely new address when they create one.
☑️ New community translations continue to bring the wallet to more languages and communities, so thank you for your contributions.

📃 Previously integrated (and still visible) on the Alephium Docs, we felt it was appropriate for Powfi to get a complete docs site of its own, with:
✅ A “User Guide”, covering wallets, swapping, providing liquidity, staking, and an FAQ section.
✅ A “Developer Guide”, with everything you need to know about integrating Powfi into your dApp.
✅ A new step-by-step guide showing how to create a wallet address in a specific group.
🪙 The KARMA token (from KarmALPH) now shows up in wallets and the explorer.

🏆 On the bounties side, USD-denominated bounties now show the USD amount first in the sponsor dashboard and bookmarks
🐞 A bug that showed inaccurate USD values in the sponsor dashboard and bookmarks has been fixed.
🔐 Profile and notification features now require you to sign in.
🔐 We’ve also tightened cross-site access rules and duplicate-transaction checks to make the platform more secure.

🏗️ Certain users who have funds on groups other than 0 have received errors when trying to swap or stake on Powfi. Due to this, we are working to migrate mobile wallet users to groupless addresses.
🏗️ The first step is to build a migration flow from the legacy grouped addresses to a groupless address.
🏗️ The devs are also working on integrating the Alephium Bridge directly into the mobile wallet.

Not crypto related but I’ve lost 20kg this year. Big milestone. Almost back at my pre-Covid19 weight.
Set myself the challenge to get to 85kg before my wedding (November) and it looks like I’ll do it.
I picked up a 20kg weight yesterday and realised that I no longer have to carry that much weight on my back anymore.
Looking through some of the early @alephium video content, my face was so fat and I looked unwell, but in recent videos I look happier and healthier.
After recently watching my buddy @niklas11891 have his first Muay Thai fight, I felt super motivated to keep pushing harder and prepare for my first fight too.
I was getting ready for my first fight 26 months ago when I had a terrible accident, fucked my hip, and spent 18 months injured. This time, I pray I don’t get injured or have anything stand in my way.

Some skills only really click once theory turns into real experience.
Since my Muay Thai fight last week, shadowboxing and bag work feel completely different. I can actually put myself back into a real fight instead of just repeating movements.
I’ve noticed the same pattern while working with AI this year. You experiment for months, progress feels almost invisible, then something clicks and the curve suddenly looks like a hockey stick.
Realizing you’re in one of those moments feels pretty damn good.
Today is a double celebration for me.
