Those trying to buy the AI dip all the way down….
When they’re “up 100%+ in 6 months” just remember what that actually means
😂
Anyone hear from @TaPlot?
Really worried about him….
My $EFX hit the 18R profit target, so took the win today.
Example to highlight this point.
Something that is a change of character that I am noting too (as I’ve mentioned in my Discord community) is recently gap-ups are holding.
Like 80-90% of them are holding and rallying instead of failing.
This is something I am noting just in the past week or so, when up until this point 10 to 20% were actually holding.
HELD (gap → close gain):
$OSPN +23.4% → +27.3%
$CPRI +10.5% → +16.3%
$REGN +6.2% → +13.3%
$BTSG +8.4% → +11.1%
$RIVN +5.7% → +6.2%
$AZN +5.3% → +7.0%
FADED:
$CL +5.2% → +2.3%
My short list of what I’ll be focusing on in the week ahead for RS feeler positions:
🧵 1/4 — INDUSTRY ROTATION: WEEK ENDED OCT. 30, 2026
The biggest message: drilling gains confirmation, infrastructure shows fresh strength, and big pharma appears across all three timeframes.
Meanwhile, last week’s standout—IT services—is losing that same confirmation.
The strongest leadership and the freshest opportunity aren’t always in the same place. Here’s what stands out 👇
DRILLING — THE MOST IMPORTANT TIMEFRAME MIGRATION
1W: +6.28% — #9
1M: +20.82% — #2
3M: +25.38% — #3
Last week, drilling appeared weekly and quarterly but was missing from the monthly Top 10.
This week, it enters monthly #2 and climbs quarterly #9 → #3. It’s now one of only two industries appearing across all three displayed horizons.
The nuance: its weekly gain slowed from +8.79% to +6.28%, and its weekly rank fell #2 → #9.
Yet the overall leadership picture improved because monthly confirmation arrived and quarterly positioning strengthened.
A slower week doesn’t automatically mean a weaker rotation.
Company results add support: Nabors reported improving margins and cash flow, while Patterson-UTI cited stronger drilling and completion demand.
Watching: $HP $PTEN $NBR
After a +20.82% monthly move, the opportunity is a constructive pause with controlled risk. Buying indiscriminately could mean arriving just in time to fund the consolidation.
Macro flag: higher oil can help the backdrop, but customer spending, rig utilization, pricing and contracts determine drilling results.
INFRASTRUCTURE — MY FIRST SEARCH FOR FRESH SETUPS
Weekly rankings:
#3 Engineering & construction: +8.21%
#5 Electrical equipment & parts: +7.89%
#6 Rental & leasing services: +7.01%
Several related industries are participating, making this more interesting than one isolated winner.
There’s company support too:
• $PWR: record backlog and a higher outlook.
• $EME: strong revenue/earnings growth and raised guidance.
• $MTZ: record backlog and Power Delivery strength.
• $HUBB: raised outlook, supported by Electrical Solutions.
But all three industries lack current monthly/quarterly Top-10 confirmation. This remains early.
Electrical equipment is re-emerging: it appeared in the September 25 and October 2 history before losing representation.
The next test: several stocks hold their earnings moves, consolidate constructively and maintain relative strength—followed by industry migration into the monthly list.

3/4 — EARLY CYCLICAL SIGNALS AND FADING LEADERSHIP
THE EARLY RADAR
Chemicals:
1W +6.36% — #8
1M +17.40% — #3
Recreational vehicles:
1W +9.76% — #2
1M +14.83% — #8
Auto & truck dealerships:
1W +9.81% — #1
Home improvement retail:
1M +15.87% — #4
Discount stores:
1M +14.77% — #9
Chemicals and RVs have two-horizon participation, but neither appears quarterly. Dealerships have the strongest weekly burst but only one displayed horizon.
Home improvement and discount stores re-enter the monthly Top 10 after appearing October 16 and dropping out October 23.
Mortgage finance remains weekly visible for a second snapshot:
+7.98% — #4
Prior: +8.73% — #3
It still lacks monthly confirmation.
There’s enough participation to investigate a wider cyclical theme. There isn’t enough evidence to declare a broad consumer or housing revival.
The next step: check whether multiple stocks participate, whether earnings support the strength, and whether gains hold after the initial burst.
A shared rate-cut or demand-recovery catalyst remains unverified.
WHERE LEADERSHIP IS LOSING CONFIRMATION
IT services:
1W: prior #4 → Dropped from Top 10
1M: prior #2 → Dropped from Top 10
3M: #7 → #10
Quarterly return:
+18.15% → +12.69%
This is the clearest downgrade versus last week.
Its three-horizon alignment is gone. Only the quarterly slot remains, with a smaller rolling gain and weaker rank.
That deserves a lower research priority until shorter timeframes improve.
Software infrastructure:
Prior quarterly #3 → Dropped from Top 10
Application software:
Prior quarterly #4 → Dropped from Top 10
Medical distribution:
Drops from its remaining monthly slot after losing quarterly representation the previous week.
Refiners:
Quarterly #1 → #2
+35.18% → +31.21%
Refiners still have substantial quarterly strength, but recent confirmation is absent and rolling momentum is cooling.
These are relative-leadership warnings. A Top-10 exit doesn’t reveal an industry’s unseen rank or prove its return is negative.
4/4 — ENERGY’S INTERNAL ROTATION AND MY HUNTING ORDER
ENERGY REMAINS BROAD, BUT ITS LEADERSHIP IS CHANGING
Quarterly participation:
#2 Refining & marketing: +31.21%
#3 Drilling: +25.38%
#5 Integrated oil & gas: +17.54%
#8 Exploration & production: +15.63%
Four related industries remain in the quarterly Top 10.
But drilling now has the cleanest current confirmation.
E&P improves monthly #10 → #7, while integrated producers drop out of the monthly list. Refiners retain large quarterly gains but continue to lose momentum.
The takeaway is more specific than “buy energy”: investigate drilling’s improving confirmation and judge the other energy groups separately.
HUNTING GROUND:
First: infrastructure
$PWR $EME $MTZ $HUBB
The best potential fresh opportunities, provided individual stocks hold their earnings moves and form constructive consolidations. Industry confirmation is still early.
Second: drilling
$HP $PTEN $NBR
The strongest improving timeframe alignment. After a substantial monthly advance, entry discipline matters.
Third: selective pharma
$LLY $MRK $BMY
Fresh three-horizon participation with earnings support in selected names. Watch for pauses rather than chasing earnings gaps.
Secondary watch: waste management
$WM $RSG $WCN
Monthly leadership persists. Renewed weekly participation would strengthen the case.
Also tracking chemicals, RVs and the returning retail groups for persistence and broader stock-level confirmation.
NEXT WEEK’S TESTS:
• Does drilling retain all three horizons?
• Does pharma’s new alignment persist?
• Can construction/electrical strength reach the monthly list?
• Do chemicals and RVs follow through?
• Can consulting and waste regain weekly representation?
• Does IT services begin repairing its lost confirmation?
My focus is the overlap between a leading group, a strong individual stock and an entry with manageable risk.
Industry strength earns a place on the research list. The chart still has to earn the trade.

“Binance will cover all losses.”
Hmm, where have I heard things like that before?….. oh yeah!….
FTX (Sam Bankman-Fried)
On November 7, 2022 (days before the bankruptcy filing), SBF posted (later deleted): “FTX is fine. Assets are fine” and “FTX has enough to cover all client holdings.”
Celsius Network (Alex Mashinsky)
In mid-May 2022, amid the Terra/Luna collapse and market turmoil, Mashinsky tweeted: “Notwithstanding the extreme market volatility, Celsius has not experienced any significant losses and all funds are safe.”
Voyager Digital
Voyager repeatedly marketed that customer USD deposits were “FDIC insured” (e.g., “YOUR USD IS FDIC INSURED”
🙄
Binance will cover all losses.
As a precaution, all deposits and withdrawals are temporarily suspended while our team conducts security checks, freezes funds, and works with law enforcement.
We are working around the clock and will share a full post-mortem once the investigation is complete. Please rely only on official Binance channels for updates.
SITUATIONAL AWARENESS:
$QQQE retested the 5 and 10-day MA's and then rallied above both, but the major drop in AMZN overnight is weighing it and the rest of the market down. MCSI continues in a solid uptrend. We're still in a market where the ER misses get obliterated. No margin for error here.
TREND MAP: YELLOW
PORTFOLIO: I opened $EFX on a pullback to the 5 EMA. I had enough cushion to comortably hold overnight.
